An M49A1 trip flare is exactly what it sounds like. It was intended as a sort of alarm system. An enemy trips the wire and an attached flare is sent skyward.
A tzompantli skull rack is a type of wooden rack or palisade documented in several Mesoamerican civilizations, which was used for the public display of human skulls, typically those of war captives or other sacrificial victims. There you go Dustin
14:05 i am a military cadet. It translates in your saying as: An ammo box for an M49a1 for a training exersise. (Well normally NZ dont name stuff unless for training). Do what you want with the info Dustin, or whoever reads this.
6:39 thats german and it says "For representation on the front: Smenkhkare and Meritaten in the relief study "walk in the garden"". Sorry for my rough and probably incorrect translation, but this sentence is focused on the egyptian history with Smenkhkare and Meritaten being a pharaoh and a royal woman in egypt

The tubes is what we call “dundage” in the Army, meaning it’s basically trash left over after we’ve used the incased artillery rounds. The M49A1 is a illumination device that is hooked up by trip wire that alerts U.S forces of approaching enemies.
Just saying the tubes from the crates I believe held documents and maps that were usually kept at camp or even just kept in the office to stay organized, just simple things
I had a ball like that and what you do with it is you follow the course and try to get the ball to the middle of the ball and there are different courses that you can take.
The black round containers are most likely Mortar round containers. couldnt read the stuff written on them but from the size i would assume either 60mm or 80 mm mortar shells
The ammo crate you found was for an m4a1 which is highly common in the military so you found an ammo crate that would be used to hold a 5.56 round or the m4a1 ammo, you asked and you received
It’s German I think and it says something about the Pharaoh Smenkhkare and his Queen, Meritaten. Smenkhkare is thought to have rained for about a year, during what is called the ‘Amarna period’ and some Egyptologists believe he was the father of King Tut. In fact, some of the items found in King Tut’s tomb had once born the name of Smenkhkare.
13:40 Those are U.S. Army artillery shell casings. They belong to the howitzer the army uses. There would be shells in there. The purpose was so they couldnt explode whilst on a truck on their way to a joint artillery section.
