How easy is it to actually break into a Key Safe? This video is for entertainment purposes - please don't try this at home. Also check out my VIP Property Academy here. bit.ly/RickGVIP
Hi Rick, your video makes a valid point. Keysafes can be opened, BUT if someone is going to go to this extent then they would probably attack a door or window instead. I run a locksmith firm, we sell keysafes. There is an easier technique which will open this unit alot quicker but does involve similar tool and force.
Interesting video Rick. I am searching now to see if these are safe to install. Do you use them or avoid as you did not really say in the video? Thanks.
Hitting it from the top might drop the lid. I've heard it's safer to install it under the window ledge so to prevent whacking it on the top. Also installing it infront of the property where pedestrians walk might deter burglars.
I have had to break in to one as the button stopped working! And it took two tools and less than 5 seconds these aren’t safe at all! And can be done with minimal about of noise!
Interesting . BUT! Before you even get to do all that, you need to manage to get it loose from the solid brick wall it is attached to….The screws are inaccessible from the outside. Dynamite would work also probably?
If the zinc alloy body is that prone to cracking, a MUCH batter method would be to use a sharp chisel with that lump hammer. However, it's is FAR FAR EASIER to just pick it open with a piece of drinks can. If you're going to use an angle grinder, then you just need two small cuts at the bottom corners where the hinge pin is, or two small cuts at the top corners where the locking pins are. It's just dumb to cut across the middle of it where there's more to cut through.
The trick is to mount it correctly with one or more of its sides against something that will prevent bashing it off the wall with a hammer. Try breaking into it mounted?!! This isn’t a fair test.
Yeah that was a terrible way to try and get in. He should have tried from the top front panel where it snaps in place. I mean going in sideways with an angle grinder? Wow
Hello i have just bough a lot of they's from the market lol just to mess around only cost me £1 each but no code so the challenge is to find the codes 🤣
