Meanwhile, the guy who played Flash in the titular movie was charged with assault & harrassment in Hawaii and holding a woman & her young daughter against their will in Maine. He made, finished & promoted the Flash movie with all this hanging over his head. Um, a shocking piece of backstory about the Flash star: he is not a Black man in Amerikkka...oops, I meant, America.

I’m over this case..wonder how much this cost taxpayers…that woman seemed abusive too…I don’t blame victims but I think there isn’t something right about this whole case.

The way she was grabbing him in the video (hard enough to rip his coat) and chasing him down for blocks I can only imagine how aggressive she was when trying to take his phone. If she’s behaving aggressively towards him and he’s trying to prevent her from taking his personal belongings in a very confined space it’s not surprising she could end up getting hit or shoved in the process. I’m not saying he was never abusive towards her in the past, but to me it’s clear that she was the aggressor that particular night. Which is what the case was about. I’m not saying that because he’s a celebrity or black man or because I’m “wearing a cape”. Just pointing out the hypocrisy of the prosecution not pressing charges against her when she basically admitted to assault.

One, his lawyer sucked; two, he should have just taken the plea deal. They are both guilty of domestic violence.

I am honestly very conflicted. There are many facts of the case that make me give that woman major side-eye, but others where I can very clearly identify abusive patterns of behavior. The texts where she says “If they ask me anything I’ll just say I bumped my head” it is obvious he is coercing her not to say anything about his prior behaviors. Very interesting that he was found guilty on 2 charges and not guilty on 2 other charges. Relationships are truly very complicated and in honesty, the only 2 people who will ever know exactly what went on are Majors and Jabari. For anyone in a dangerous or toxic relationship, please know that you are worth more and your peace, safety, and freedom are priceless!

Attorneys should have advised him that bringing the new girlfriend to court every day may not work in his favor. The jury may find it intentionally inciteful. Because she is well known, the jury may perceive that as subliminal manipulation.

Because he’s not the most likable person we are confusing what’s fair vs what isn’t. After she took off chasing him down the street that changed the entire narrative… I have seriously been abused and I have never followed my abuser to a second location in the midst of an episode. That’s not how self preservation works… that’s obsession.

All I can say is that there is a fine line between self defense and assault…. I can’t really say I see he was intentionally assaulting her on that night , and if the grabbing of his personal belongings didn’t occur that any of this would have happened. From the videos it seemed like he attempted his hardest to remove himself from a situation he did not want to be in. I saw someone say if we push someone trying to steal our purse does that mean we are the bad guys? As a woman who was in a physically abusive relationship, I was too terrified of him to run after or do anything displayed in the videos. As a woman who’s been in a relationship with someone attempting to remove themselves from a toxic individual who saw no wrong in putting her hands on him and doing anything and everything to get a “raise” or a reason to stay. That’s the behavior I see. A female desperate and with very low self esteem. We can’t really say he is entirely at fault of that, old texts messages shows a type of manipulation, yes but it’s not consistent to the behaviors on camera. We all can be manipulative at times, no one is completely innocent of that, but it does seem like he tried to elevate her to a standard she was not going to be capable of and that likely played into her insecurities and her actions in fear of being left. I don’t think wanting and expecting higher standards for your partner is a bad thing…but I think this is definitely a cautionary tale. We should inspire to be more careful of the partners we choose if there’s a plan or end goal in mind, not everyone can raise to the occasion, and sometimes, be it background or color, society requires us to be held at a more higher standard than our constituents and it’s not our place to expect them to it make harder than they’d have to match us. All in all, I hope he’s learned his lesson and I hope she gets the help she seems to truly need.

Everyone being "surprised" / "outraged" about this verdict and pulling the race card didn't really follow the case. (I'm black btw) The messages from the Sept 2022 event told me everything I need to know. That's not to say there wasn't mutual combat or aggression in this relationship of theirs but he is not innocent, and there was no gray area to the fact that he has been aggressive with her.
