Honestly this a long with 17776 and the Tim Tebow Chronicles are my favorite thing done by Jon Bois. I just really love the idea of getting the chance to basically infinitely in a way. Being able to play a game that crosses an entire or state and last centuries, or seeing the absolute maximum length for which you can sustain a drive, and finally being given the chance to play until you win a Super Bowl no matter how long it takes. That’s something I think almost anyone who’s ever played football (and actually enjoyed it) would love to have the chance to do. Even with all the imperfections and failures in 89 seasons of Sanchez seeking a Super Bowl the journey itself is like a slice of both football heaven and hell in a way and the end caps it off perfectly which is what makes the story and set up so perfect.
This honestly makes me wish madden would add a sort of infinite franchise mode where there are no rookies and every season just continue with the same players. No progression, no regression, just an eternal moment of football that adds to the record books every year. Honestly, this would also be pretty easy to add as an option too.
I keep coming back to Y2K/BM. And so much context is lost because so many of the videos are gone. These are the videos that survived. And I thank whatever YT gods have overlooked the music content claims that have undoubtedly destroyed all the erased clips.
Did the math using the QB closest to his seasonal average in TD's and INT's using the 2016 season, Phillip Rivers. After all his suffering, Mark Sanchez had a QBR of 90.1 and 1 Super Bowl Championship.
