Whoa, that "cockroach" comment was a bit much. Wtf. McSauce might not be what us fans want for the future, ability-wise, but there's no doubt we want all of the players to have his spirit. He's never held out for higher wages. He's never low-energy on the pitch. He's never complained about anything. McTominay will always be a Red, and I'm proud to have had him. He's been good. I've always said he should stay when folks wanted him sold. Stil offers great value of the bench. But I can't lie, every manager uses him as a fall back option when shit hits the fan. I agree with selling him now simply to remove him as a comfort blanket for managers, same with Maguire. You can't progress when you regress to survival tactics like every manger. Take away the option from them.

Scotty was never the problem at United. He was played in the wrong position for long parts of his time at the club. When he is able to use his strengths he scores goals and influences games. He will be sorely missed!

Jay, Scott McTominay rejected Fulham, that's why Fulham looked elsewhere. Antonio Conte has been personally speaking with Scott for a long period. His personal terms with Napoli were agreed a long time ago. Scott's wage is lower at Napoli. The last detail is his severance package from United, similar to Aaron Wan Bissaka.

Scott McTominay has had a life most of us can only dream of. From rubbing shoulders with Fergie to playing in the theatre of dreams for the club he loves. Thinking about it happening now I am a bit sad, and think this might not be the best thing for us - we never should've let Jonny Evans go in hindsight. Then again he was only ever going to be a squad player sub and he's proven, at least to me, that he is good enough to play that role as long as his wages aren't sky high. As it is, we are currently in a huge transition and this move is quite understandable in the grand scheme of things. I wish him all the best and I am glad he's not sticking around the prem, he would undoubtedly score a bullet header or longer ranger against us at some point. His career thus far is nothing to be sniffed at, remember he has been labouring at the shittest Utd side in decades, a real dark patch in our history and he has done himself proud. Imagine him playing with Scholes, Giggs, Beckham - he would've bagged 10-15 goals a season coming off the bench for us for his whole career. Best of luck Scott!

The “Anti-McSauce” sentiment on this channel is truly sickening 🤬 Scott may not be the new Bryan Robson, the new Roy Keane or Paul Scholes but he deserves so much more credit and respect than he receives here. The season when our U23s were short of strikers because Rashford had been promoted to the first team and others had been let go thanks to the stupidity & lack of foresight of the management, Scott was prepared to put his own development on hold and played as an emergency striker. His commitment to the club has always been superb and I have had the ultimate respect for him throughout his career. Show the kid more respect, we’ve had much worse midfield players than him at the club who were treated better than him. I feel too many outlets, such as Stretford Paddock, have treated him appallingly and are too quick to make him the scapegoat. I wish him nothing but the best for his future! I can’t wait for the complete change of attitude from channels such as this when he becomes a big star in Italy.

Got to say this is a strange but largely welcome transfer window. Its refreshing to see ineos taking bold decisions that the past regime were too scared to do. There is ALOT more to do but this window is a reasonable start. We need to get Ugarte over the line & hopefully this sale of Mctominay allows us the headroom to seal Ugarte on a permanent & give us some wiggle room to possibly get a LWB option and maybe Rabiot on a free. Id say the mctominay move is 100% ineos....ETH loves mctominay so i cant see he wouldve wanted him to go...but this is the positive of having a sporting structure above the mgr. ETH has no excuses left....benching Garnacho for Rashford is pure madness, & favouring Mount & Maguire is going to bring his downfall. I pray ETH can be a success but im not seeing enough progress...i feel Ineos are laying the groundwork in the squad to replace ETH maybe by end of season or xmas.

If he’s off - fair play to him. They’re a good team and the area too (I say area as Naples is a bit shit, but the Amalfi coast is next door). Shame as he may not have been someone we’d win the league with in the first 11, but he’d have been a great sub. Like an O’Shea or Brown etc. who didn’t play week in week out but still did their bit. When Jay said “pure profit”, it’s true, but it’s sad football has come to this. FFP/PSR or whatever was there to stop clubs spending beyond their means. Instead we end up selling useful local lads to balance books.

All the very best Scott. A mistake to sell Scott . He’s a great squad player. Run through a brick wall for United. He had the mentality to play for us he the tactical side. Amd the technical side. And the physical side. We should have sold Erickson as we have mount for the creativity
