Brother Ebuka has a right to his views just as we all have a right to our views. He cannot face only religion or Nigerian Politics. He said who he supports and why he supports the person. He is not asking anybody to like the person he supports. The Brother Ebuka that we all know can never support things like Gay, Lesbianism, Abortion rights, War etc. Brother Ebuka is vocal and passionate about Christian values.
Politics is a lot more complex than two or more policy statements which could be applauded. I believe prophet Ebuka should try to distance himself from partisan Politics and dwell more on religion and salvation of souls. Politicians everywhere in world have always used the powerful weapon of religion to their own advantage, Trump is not an exception, even in Nigeria religion has always been deployed and it's powerful potentials harnessed. Muslim- Muslim ticket and the issue of fake bishops are still vivid in our minds. To conclude that the use of shades provided by religion by politicians is a mark of their religiosity shows a lack of understanding of the underlying intents. I believe America with over 300 million people deserve better than Trump or Biden, I don't have anything personal against any of the two but I strongly believe what America has in these two men is a devil's alternative. The complex world of today requires America with a younger, dynamic and more credible president. Again let's not confuse party's ideologies, especially in advanced democracies with individual preferences. Republicans will always uphold their core conservative values on religion and morality whether it is Trump or Pence ,same is applicable to liberals on their core values. Whether there would've been war with Trump presidency is debatable, all I can easily predict is that Trump would not support Ukraine, based on his pro Putin antecedents. After all he believed Putin more than The American Intelligence. I strongly believe public office holders, especially the number one citizen should have certain moral and ethical requisite to occupy such position, whether in America with Trump and Biden or in Nigeria, with Tinubu and Obi. If anyone is against Tinubu because he falls short of certain moral and ethical standards to occupy such a position, it will be difficult to explain to people like me that Trump is different, they are birds of the same feathers. Yes we all know you are not required to be a saint to be president, at the same time you are not expected to be a criminal. In the words of Peter Obi; " I'm not a saint, I am also not a criminal." What did Tinubu do Trump didn't do, even worse, " snatch it, grab it and run away with it ", and the insurrection of January, 6th, 2021, where a sitting president watched with admiration to see mobs ready to kill his own vice, just because he wanted to remain in power at all cost. If America were to be a sheath and banana Republic like Nigeria, Trump would have been president now, but thanks for the American institutions and her democracy. Whether Trump is a racist or not, they say actions speak better than voice. Just rewind back your memories and watch his controversial ' crowd " inauguration, apart from Obama and Michelle, who, obviously by protocol needed to be there, watch the faces of the people present, in a multi racial and multi cultural society like that of America. Pointless mentioning his appointments and the people he wants to surround himself with on any official engagement. What about the opinions of the top American officials who served under him, not blacks but whites. From Rex, to Kerry and Bolton, to mention but only 3 gentlemen. I conclude with this quote from John Bolton, Trump's former Chief Security Adviser; " Trumps America first means Trump first." The similarity I see in Trump and Tinubu is, these are two individuals, who in quest to satisfy their selfish egos are ready to sell even the whole country so long as their interests are protected.

I don't like any of those 2 candidates and if I were an American citizen I wouldn't vote for any of them. He may have few policies which may sound good but in reality are often party policies. Any body who knows Trump very well can never heap any moral praises on him Trump and Tinubu have a lot in common when it comes to morality. Never trust any politician on religion, most of them if not all only use it as umbrella and nothing more. I like my prophet but if I have privilege to be closer to him, there are certain things I will advise him to approach differently, this does not in any way mean disrespect. I believe we his followers must be in a position to differ with him on socio political matters, if such could be for the overall interest of him and the Ministry. I would have preferred he didn't delve into such a controversial matter.

You can see he is not pro homosexual, pro lesbian, pro abortion, pro transgender, pro war, etc. He also said he likes Trump because he moved the American embassy to Jerusalem. He said he likes him because he is outspoken. I personally don't like Trump but then I don't support Abortion and the rest. Brother Ebuka spoke about what came to his mind. He said his view. Is he not allowed to have views anymore?. He is human like us. Like I said. I don't like Trump but then that doesn't mean I should stop people from saying they like him. We should learn how to agree to disagree. Some people are saying Brother Ebuka should concentrate on Nigeria. He already said sometime ago that we have a president whether or not we like it, that we just have to pray for the president. That is understandable. As far as I am concerned, this is not deep. @judeikwuegbu151 Brother Ebuka has already delved into controversial matters such as homosexual, transgender, abortion etc. If the president says abortion is illegal, it becomes illegal etc. I don't know how else to explain it. It's just like when he tells us things like do not divorce, asking us to respect and be submissive to our husbands etc, some people will not like it while some will. Some will do it while some will not. Some will feel he is anti women. I don't take things personal. Some are already feeling bad about what he said.
