It's defense contractors (specifically Lockheed, etc.) that own some congressmen, go listen to David Grusch. He's the face of the push for transparency currently. Grusch literally calls both Mike's out on joe rogan's podcast letting us know they are taking money to keep things under wraps.
Really appreciate this bipartisan group efforts to get to the bottom of this. The sense of entitlement displayed by members of the military to deny transparency speaks to what we all know as a misplaced seat of power.

People aren't allowed to know what the government/military/industry know and that's bad. What's worse is that when an individual discovers/finds or even invents something the authoritarians decide that person must be silenced/scared stiff or just erased. I am a homegrown American citizen, A veteran and amazed that our elected officials are being deprived of any information, aren't we a representative government? If so how can our representatives represent us? it is my opinion if these generals or who ever they are refuse to provide our representatives the info they ask for they should be replaced, as they do work at the behest of our representatives. They work for we the people and we elected you all as our representatives.

If tax dollars go to it, there should be proper oversight. If they refuse, we should cut off government funds. If its classified, a congressman who has classification should be briefed, not to expose, but so that proper oversight can happen.

With this situation I think everyone will begin to understand why the national debt keeps growing with any real accountability and why certain departments keep failing their audits.
The very issue of the Administration not forthcoming with information requested by the Congress is likely a constitutional violation that might be subject to legal action.
I think any bill presented to congress needs to be submitted at minimun 2 weeks prior to a vote so anything un that bill can be questioned before a vote. No more 4000 page bills 24 hours before a holiday/ break of congress.

I got an idea. If the government is worried that showing the photos or videos will expose surveillance techniques... well then crop out the entire picture BUT the craft. That way all we see is the craft and we won't know anything else surrounding the photo and so on. 🧐
