I don't believe that there are any camps set up on campuses at Florida universities or colleges. There was an attempt and Police Officers immediately broke them up and arrested those participating and are prosecuting those arrested.

@@SquirtlePower809 Agriculture,Architects, Engineering, Food Science, and formerly Child Development,Dietetics ,and Home Economics were the big majors although I don’t know what the last three are now called. It’s a very practical and conservative group of students and not an easy school to get into by any means. The school motto is Learn by Doing.

Be encouraged because the men and women I went to school with there have accomplished amazing things in the above majors since 1978. I have no doubt now that the rigor continues and more wonderful people will be emerging every year. I personally know one in her 30’s, tangentially several others. There is a great deal to be hopeful of seeing in the future.

I know my students leave my class with some real skills and tools and not just indoctrination. And I see how many of them really appreciate the space to engage freely and openly with difficult ideas and not just being told by a teacher that "whyte people are all evil" or that "men can be women" without ANY room for analysis or discussion. They share with me all the time how my class is the only when where they LEARN, because I never tell them what to think-- only HOW to think.

Do Not to Forget the disruption during Graduation Ceremonies! The students that were getting their degrees should be outraged by this behavior. Not to forget all the families and friends who traveled for their special day. I believe the colleges handled all the protesters poorly. They owed the students getting their degree a peaceful day with happy memories. Instead their chancellors let the Little Gaza Protesters have their way for the most part. I think the colleges should be defunded by our government if this happens. It’s time these institutions understand we won’t tolerate this in the future.

Freedom of speech does not and NEVER has included anyone’s right to participate in violence or threaten other people. When I grew up, I was always told that my rights ended at the end of my nose and the same restrictions goes for every other person. The space between people was considered a neutral territory where people treated others the way they wanted to be treated themselves. We need to get back to those standards!

The problem is not Biden, Trump, or any other person leading America, whether Democrat or Republican. There is a lobby of money and weapons interests that determines American policy, and it is the one that makes the American people suffer the woes in their lives, and it is the one that finances election campaigns on its terms, of course, as you can see, which president of the United States falls. From the UK, I find the weakness of the University presidents, that are allowing this to happen, to be quite terrifying. They most certainly do not deserve to head up anything. We have similar problems here in the UK. It's not unfair, it's absolutely despicable that a student cannot access safely their education. I agree 100% about the funding being cut/stopped, money speaks in America. This conversation is massively important because it sets a precedent for the West. This a battle we all absolutely need to win.

Let's hope and pray they can! It is awful that a lot of these kids won't/didn't/ can't have commencement services due to this terrible situation perpetuated by their fellow students also. Far worse is the terrible cause they believe they are right about. Stating genocide without regard to all the Israelis murdered. The Jewish students on campus have done nothing to deserve how they are being treated on U.S. campuses. Very, very sad.
