Tv from the yester year use to plug in attach an aerial and just work with a little tuning and of course us children as the human remote control. Then came the smart tv that only work until no firmware or apps get updated. Not so fooking smart are they. I know you can buy a dongle but thats extra cash until they stop being updated. Then we go on the merry go round again. The joys of TV advancement.

Doc, thanks so much for the update. I have brand new Smart TVs so I won’t be effected. Otherwise, I would be pretty 😠 angry. Do you know why they are doing this? They have already lost a bunch of customers for other reasons. Now their customer database is really going to decline. Not really smart idea.

Yep the same thing happened to me, my daughter subscribed to Netflix family, I split the bill with her and used her password all worked fine for a year but it now stopped working on my tv so she cancelled it

Recently got Netflix back as I have cancelled Paramount + from everything being sead I dont think Paramount + has a long term future. Reason we got Netflix back is because they are going to have exclusive rights to the Christmas day N.F.L. games globally for the next three seasons starting this coming season. And I want to see what related content they may be add been watching Quarterback documentary series on there. But after Christmas, it will be getting cancelled again. Up until the news broke We had not had Netflix for about 2 & a half years. Been following The N.F.L. since Christmas 1995 got a computer game for Christmas that year went from there end up with going to the Super Bowl in 1996 in Arizona. I very rarely use Netflix. They are so liberal I can’t stand them. My husband uses it on his Apple phone. If you have screen mirroring you cam can still big screen it.
