The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to entertain the Enforcement Directorate's plea seeking action against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over his campaign speeches. The ED said Kejriwal's assertion that he would "not have to go back to jail" if people voted for the INDIA bloc was a "slap on the face of the system".

The finanance ministet should stop the payment to supreme court judges. Let kejiriwal will give salaries from his pocket to supreme court judges. The judgez all are puppet of kejuriwsl.

Why SC didn't gave same treatment to Hemant Soren on same ground that SC given to Kejriwal?? Hemant Soren was CM of Jharkhand and Main leader of only his Party... SC rejected Hemant Soren Plea becaz he is adivasi which Kejriwal was not... we know how many adivasi Judges are there in SC and how many become CJI....n

The SC which rigorously applied the law to the letter and adopted a rather stern stance in cases Nupur Sharma and advertisements by Patanjali, was overtly benign and liberal with AK, and used it's discretionary powers to his undeserved advantage. There is clear lack of consistency in it's approach and a slant in favour of the rich and the powerful.

With courts having a lot of pending cases, it is observed that high courts & and the Supreme Court are tied up with few political cases endlessly. I suggest either of the following: It is being observed that within a day or two of the lower court giving the judgement, the aggrieved party rushes to the next higher court and so ultimately Supreme Court hears the case the 3rd day and makes the time spent on lower courts totally irrelevant. Hence I feel that whoever can afford Supreme Court, let them straight away go there for justice so that "manhours are not wasted." If however Supreme Court doesn't acceed to the above then let them atleast stipulate " lock in period" before the High Court decision is contested in Supreme Court. All the hard work put in by judges & advocates should not become irrelevant the 3rd day. Instead they can focus on other pending cases. Request Chief justice of India think over this suggestion. Modi govt should put a full stop to the practice of appointing CJI on the basis of seniority and refer back any recommendation of the outgoing CJI. The SC has become a political outfit and well reasoned judgements of High Courts are overturned on the basis of fancy convenient interpretation of statutes .Are these judges compromised and beholden to a few senior advocates?
