Rubbish he got beat very well done. They have to stop choosing referee that are either no professional or corrupt. Tyson is where he is, because he choose very few good fighters during his carriera . I knew since the date this fight was announce that Tyson this time would not win. He try clowning around to impress people but never work with Usik he is a true champion and that is a fact.
Agree 100%, That ref was dreadful , either he should have stopped the fight and grant TKO ,or allow Usyk to give the finall blow which would have been KO ....damn him.
Tyson did lose but didn't do as bad as most people are saying. If he didn't act the way he did less people would be interested in watching. Remember he sells the fights!
I had Usyk winning 8-4 based on punches landed, meaningfull punches landed aiverall „efective agression” and better implementation of superiour tactic and startegy and Ofcource the knockdown that was supose to be called as TKO or if the ref saw it otherwise he should have allowed Usyk to land the heavy left hand he had wound up and aimed at Furys unprotected jaw. That punch would have KO’d Fury bad…. In my opinion good fights between good boxers sell themselves. Fury gets extra promotion to his fights but lets face it AJ was more popular and the reason he was more popular was because he was a better boxer. Jai Opetai Braidis was an awsome fight. Zhang Wilder was not. Zhang is a great Fighter, Dubois Hergovich was a great fight both guys are great boxers. Parker vs Zhang was a great fight. Both are great boxers. AJ vs Waling was a great fight. AJ was a great fighter and has improved. All of these guys are exiting boxers why is Fury suposedly the one who sels the fight. Most peoppe wanted Usyk to win and most people that wached the fight were suporting Usyk. I have allot of friends in different coubtries around the world and the vast majority of people were rooting for Usyk. One of the things i did not like about Fury was the way he was promoted. A big part of his promotion was that everyone ealse is trash that are nit worth waching. Which in my opiniinnharmed boxing. The HW is full of talented boxers and warriors that i want to wach as a boxing fan. By bringing down wveryone Fury tried to build a name for himself as the only boxer that counts. This is why so many people around the world rooted for Usyk. He represented the „litle guy” the „underdog”. Fury called him not his equal, unworthy. This struck a core with allot of peoppe who are made to feel insignificant, not equal, and unworthy. Because they were born in a poor country, or are diacriminated against. Usyk restored the belief that anyone can achieve anything if he tries hard enough against seamingly impossible ods. Its nit guaranteed that the powers that be will not rob the man they considers „not their equal” but as long as their is hope there is reason to try. One day Usyks story will become a great movie. The man born on the same day as Ali named Alexander which litterally means warrior cam to bring back dignity and prestige to boxing beating the man the establishment called the Goliath of the HW. You cannot make this thing up. David beat Goliath despite seamingly impossible ods. Fury was 6 inches taller, had a 7 inch longer reach, and was 39 pounds heavyer, he had the ref and judges on his side, he had allbthe money in boxing backing him as he was the corporate cash cow. Many said he cannot lose agasint bigger and stronger opponents. But he lost to a smaller man nicknamed the „cat” with rhe heart of a lion. How epic is that.
@@orestmakar8562 i think you're right, but you always need a good bad guy. Star Wars was good because of Darth Vader, the avengers because of Thanos. So as much as i hate the antics of fury, you need it so that people have more passion about it. Good fighters sell fights to boxing fans, but remember 90% of folks truly are casuals! They only know Tyson, Ali, and a few bigger names. Most of that is also because of their persona outside of boxing because it transcends the sport. Like people know Mucha Jordan who don't even watch basketball, or tiger woods but never seen golf in their life. Usyks story is made better and more satisfying all because Tyson made out to be such a big giant with a big mouth. So the beat down was more sweet......
