Thank you for sharing your little friends! Luna's coloring is hypnotic to me and her obsession with shoes... I had no idea why one of my cats used to stick his face into my work boots, but I know he must have been full of love and fortitude to have done that. They evidently love us and find us by our scents, as unpleasant as some humans may find them.
I'm glad you're back, and in good spirits from the sound of it! I'm sorry you couldn't bring the treats home, but I guess I can understand how bringing in food stuff from other countries can present risks. It doesn't look like Pizza and Luna minded getting their usual favorites, though! They looked like they were both sooo happy to see you, and I love how they both have their own way of greeting you. 😺 Your mom is such a great catsitter, that note she left was brilliant 😹 Pizza being the guardian of the cat-try and demanding compensation for having been deprived of your presence is just so precious, darling boy that he is 🧡🍕 I didn't think Luna could get any more adorable, but her shoe obsession (and that fluffy belly) definitely broke the cute-o-meter. When she was dragging your slipper around the chair leg, I laughed out loud at the exact moment when she gets startled and says, "You're laughing at me!" It was hilariously uncanny 🤣💚🌛
Thank you!! I was hoping it wouldn't be a problem since they were dry treats, but that's ok. Mum did a wonderful job at catsitting. They were so happy to have me back and were following me everywhere (I was super happy to be back with them!). Pizza made sure he got all the treats he could and Luna couldn't stop herself with the shoes. That's hilarious btw! 😹🧡🍕💚🌛

Pizza and Luna should complain to customes for taking there treats. Also who shoes get more drool in them mum or dads. My cat I lost a few years ago loved to drool in my shoes.
Is it the contents of the treats, or where they are made that is the issue? Some pet foods and toys from places like China have products (Dyes and colouring) or contents (High levels of Lead) that have been proven bad for pets. Multiple levels of caution are a good thing when it comes to our best (Furry) friends.
My cats would want to know why I chose to come straight home from the airport instead of stopping at the treat-gettin' place BEFORE I walked in the door. Clearly my priorities are askew, travel appears to have done me no good whatsoever Reparations will have to be made!
When we get home our cats sit 10 feet away and leer at us, guilting us for abandoning them. By the next day, we’re forgiven. Maybe those shoes smelled like Vienna sausages.
