Strongest weapon in base game: Sword forged from the soul of a demigod, imbued with the dying hatred of a thousand and the power of an immortal serpent Strongest weapons in DLC: some guys arm and glitter, but only when you throw it on the ground
@@hendryx404 ion even bought the dlc yet but I hope by the time I get it the build won’t get nerfed. I need to be throwing my jean Paul gaultier at people😭
The "how was that not a poise break" around 25:00 if you throw a throwing dagger in the middle of setting up another strike on him it would have prevented his poise meter from dropping as much or if timed well at all. big brain move i never make use of myself but it is there.
I checked just now and it doesn’t even Have any bleed buildup anymore. When given the blood affinity it does about 204 bleed buildup with like 80 arcane, and the value tapers off so it likely won’t be much more
I like how when you get a stance break, and do a critical hit, you cause a blood loss on each hit during the critical, causing 2 bleed procs most of the time
I can sadly say that I've returned to my roots and am doing a bleed build despite trying everything in my power to not do so I just really like this weapon
Fr it’s the only reason I managed to beat the DLC today, I was still stuck at 2 remembrances 3 days ago and was scared to get spoiled so I just picked this weapon up and steam rolled through to the end with ease
It’s crazy cause I had no idea this weapon was in the dlc until I struggled immensely with the final boss fight. It’s not that I wasn’t doing damage. It’s just that it forces you to either learn his stupid fps braking combos or to just kill him super quick before he gets his shitty made combos off on you. I really didn’t like that I felt like I was getting flash banged every second in second phase😂
I mean if you put seppuku on a bleed infused twinblade it will give you more than 228 on the two handed light attack. I think they cap at around 180 bleed which would give 270 buildup on the two handed light attack, and 450 buildup on the 4 hit charged R2 and Godskin Peeler running R2.
That opening clip is crazy, both hits of the repost causing a bleed proc is wild, especially because after bosses receive a status the get a slight resistance for each consecutive proc
Strongest weapon in the base game: A sword belonging to one of the mightiest demigods, taken from the stomach of a god-devouring serpent and filled with the souls of thousands of warriors. Strongest weapon in the DLC: chicken leg
RoB was one of the most OP weapons in base game. I believe it even got nerfed and was still mostly easy mode. Around 70% of players I invaded used this weapon. What does FromSoft do? They make a great hammer for the DLC with massive bleed and damage output. Seems like FromSoft doesn't know how to balance the bleed effect.
RoB is literally outclassed by nagakiba + bloodflame blade + double slash. I find it funny that a build which was once a walmart version of Rivers of blood is now actually better than the original
18:12 Damn, Renalla really embraced the Dark Souls 2-esque bullshit hitboxes in some of her magic arc attacks I guess we can't escape DS2 bullsh!t even in Elden Ring, can we 😂?
Hey, Skumnut. Remember when you did the Litany of Proper Death only challenge run and has to call it quits at RadaBeast because it was mathematically impossible due to your limited FP, and you said the only way it would be possible is if you could achieve infinite FP? The DLC adds the Blue Dew talisman, it gives you passive FP regen. Now you can have infinite FP, you just have to be patient. It's winnable now
I didn't expected Skumnut will stop to torture himself in endless "can i end the game without breathing" ahh challenges and gets some joy of breaking elden ring. I don't say that challenges aren't funny, but skum, geez, care about yourself. Love you
yo tip on the rellana dance (where she shoots the 5 slices) walk to the left and jump over the first horizontal one, it will send the second one to the sky (im saying this bc i know you´re doing more runs)
Even without bleed this weapon is busted as fuck. The two handed sword talisman and axe talisman are enough to make this a posture killer on every enemy, i just killed radagon in less than 10 hits with this .Use it while you can because this gonna get nerfed HARD on the next patch
Post nerf people be like "wah! my op weapon got nerfed! Wah!". It lost 14 bleed build up and 50 damage maybe (for me at 60 arc). So sad. Ya'll act like its bleed got cut in half or something. it STILL bleeds and stuns like a mf so quit complaining.
Crazy part is, I was just omw to fight Malenia with that weapon last night, but then I got the message pop up that there was gonna be an update in like 5mins and they ended up nerfing the bleed on the weapon. In short, I was sad
@TREVORVADER I didn't say anything about them ruining the fun. It did need balancing. The weapon did 227 bloodloss buildup and it was nerfed to more 208 which is still good. While I can't speak on many other weapons, it's not fair to day that they ruined the fun of what's meant to be a difficult game
@@mikyah49 yeah this weapon didn’t get hit nearly as bad as I thought it did apparently. I was speaking for some of the other stuff like Flame of the Redmanes and such that used to be good but ultimately made useless after being nerfed since there are plenty of better alternatives for fire damage or crowd control. Plus Fromsoft has in the past, from what I’ve heard as I played all Souls games post final patches, nerfed many things too harshly over the years.
Yo Skum, I think it would be cool if you continued your older runs in the dlc, i.e. the roll only run(with either the briar armour or new thorn spell) or the seal only run.
@@upsideproductions2it’s ass now. You need to get 4 to stagger instead of 2. And with the weapon being slow as shit and the stamina it takes, your better of using a level 1 academy staff🤣
I used the warped axe for rennela, with bloody savage lions claw on it, I managed to stagger during faze transition so she died before she could even attack. Savage lions claw is inane for activating the blood loss, as the follow up hits 3 or 4 times quickly as well doing some decent poise
holy that non subscribe to subscribe count is maybe the highest ive ever seen, no regular channel can pull this off.. only hard work dedication and entertainment, amazing video my friend ♥️
I have no idea how much upgrade materials you can get in the smithery dungeons in the dlc but im sure you couldve gotten +25 from running around in the dlc
You should try double gargoyle twinblade with bleed affinities. For talismans - lord of blood's exultation, claw talisman, rotten winged sword insignia and millcents prosthesis. Armour should just be white mask and raptors black feather's. You can add some more if you want. For the tear id say strength knot and thorny cracked tear. For buffs golden vow and howl of shabriri will suffice. All in all the buff routine should be - flask of wonderous physik --> golden vow --> howl of shabriri --> contagious fury --> sepukku. I used this build till +7 and shredded every boss. If you want +10 all stats, try oath of vengeance and godricks great rune. I used this to see how fast id shred malenia. with the right rng it took about 40 s phase one and a bit longer phase two.
You can destroy anything when you aren't even on NG+1 yet, also when you know where everything is and have practiced strats to get those enemies to fall off the cliffs
