I am impressed with the people who leave the Amish because they are strong in their love of the Lord.

What beautiful stories. Brings tears to my eyes. Thank you for making this. I am a born again Christian of over 52 years I came to Christ through Billy Grahams ministry when I was 18 and now I am 70 and love to hear how people of all cultures come to Christ.

I have watched this many times,and I cried each time for Polly , and her husband and their family. May the Lord watch over them.

What a beautiful love story. I cried with her when she talked about the struggles of leaving her family and the life she loved. I had struggles very similar to hers as I grew up in a Hutterite colony. I see a lot of similarities between the two cultures. I was also shunned by some of my family for leaving. Jesus is worth it all and heaven will be sweeter because of the heartache here.

This was so good, with the salvation of these two Amish people! Their smiles really show their love for Jesus!

This episode made me weep. I can't imagine the pain of leaving all you know and your treasured culture. So glad you all found the grace of the savior,Jesus. God bless you all.

This is really very, very moving. I love the story of Sam and Polly. She really is a wounded soul. She needs so much healing. So glad that Sam is in the ministry with Joe Keim! Praying that many Amish souls will be saved in this New Year!

That poor lady, you know what, I think those elders saw a light in her they were jealous and scared of, so that tried to snuff it out. Shame on them for being so cruel. I'm glad she found her hubby and ha beautiful children. She is a beautiful woman and soul. shine your light, Polly.

This was a great series. Really opened my eyes to how hard it is to break from traditions that have been in someone’s life for generations. But ultimately, it was so great to see their eyes opened to Jesus Christ, our one True God

That was the most amazing heartwarming story ever as he said such a beautiful culture but yet so oppressive it saddens my heart to think they are so confused about the simplicity of salvation I am very familiar with the Amish as I fly from Florida to Pennsylvania and drive for them I have a deep respect and love for them but it’s sad they are so confused... This story brought me to tears

This is an excellent series, so glad I found it. Thank you for doing this! I’ve always loved the Amish and this helps me understand their culture, lifestyle and beliefs better. I can understand your passion for wanting them to have the peace of knowing Jesus and that the work of their salvation is finished.

Since the Amish teach love for one another, it seems they have a foundation of the lord. After listening they are very strong in their faith and having Joe Keim as someone who helps in the transition makes all the difference.

Thank you for these beautiful stories, so inspiring and uplifting. They strengthen my testimony of Jesus Christ. Who I love deeply. God bless you on your mission to share the truth.

Was so hoping it would end the way it did, a true love story on so many levels!

To us outsiders, Amish culture looks extreme, having lived and experienced quote a 'normal life' the Amish looks pure in comparison; It is "another worldly" lifestyle that it makes me envious, having great admiration for their culture regardless of their frailties, I went to visit Arthur, Illinois, Shipshewena, Indiana, just by driving through their communities you feel this peaceful aura about the place you are hit a strong feeling of a world gone by. Interacting with them up close, you can feel a peaceful pure aura that radiates, it is hard to explain. I love the Amish people regardless of their quirks. Yes I want them to be bible believing Christians, but still remain Amish in their culture.

So I found this series and can’t stop watching! I’m crying with heartfelt joy! Especially for sweet Polly and Sam! 😘 What a beautiful story! So well done! And leading these precious children of God to King Jesus! Nothing better 🤗

What a beautiful testimonial. Wow, this brought me to tears. Our God is so mighty and he loves us so much! I was raised a Roman Catholic and attended a Catholic school growing up. 😮We were taught that we shouldn’t read the Bible either, as we might interpret the gospel wrongly. Only those who were educated to teach from it should read it! ( The Priest) It wasn’t until I became an Adult in my early 40s that I became truly saved and had a relationship with Jesus Christ. I do believe all the rules are just there to control us and keep us under their thumbs. I Only answer to Father God, he is my everything. No man can judge my salvation. May God bless you always!

I left Jehovah's Witnesses, but not for another "truth" based on the bible and Christianity. But I appreciate how shunning/disfellowshipping can keep a person trapped in fear of loss, which is what kept me living a lie until my mom's death. I don't follow any religion and at the same time, I have experienced the power of love. Thanks for the work--there is room for one to grow in spirit thru this learning.

Wow, in this episode particularly, I felt the pain of those who in many ways love the simple lifestyle of the Amish in many ways, but they recognize the ordung is not really about scripture or even salvation. In fact, in the end those who follow Christ fully find they need to leave the Amish, because they cannot even claim this and be Amish. This episode you as film producers succeeded in helping us to feel the utter pain of the struggle to conform to church ordung, the pull of family and community, and the growing knowledge that they could no longer stay in the system. What a painful struggle!!! You assisted the audience to feel the pain of unfair treatment, church rules, traditions vs. following Christ. Also brought out in this episode are the painful stories of Amish ministers who had a large problem with control and who "picked" on members for no real reason; and, blocked members from moving to any other district. How incredibly painful to have to leave family knowing you would be shunned and with the conditioning to believe you were going to hell if you leave the Amish church. So hard to not be able to interact with people and have family completely shun you for following Christ. I see most still carry this pain to a degree today.

There is so much that is "Swiss" about the Amish. The high standards, hard work ethic, frugality, modesty, the rules and the need for conformity. I recognize it all because I am Swiss. When I returned to Switzerland from Canada I found that I had changed too much to get back to being a "real Swiss". It is not the religion but "the way of being".

Thank you for this series, we live an hour or so from Ethridge, TN, the Swartzentruber Amish. I now understand better their ways but thank you for helping show there is only one way, Jesus Christ.

This is amazingly interesting. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like their religion is based on fear, not love and forgiveness. Exactly like in the time of Jesus. If you breathe wrong you go to hell, if you eat wrong you go to hell, and so on and so forth. What is more amazing is that they don't denounce God but show a longing to be with Him and learn more about Him.

I'd love to visit your church because of your passion as well as the love of Christ.

I'm not Amish, and if going to church is a measurement of religion, I guess I'm not very religious. Growing up I went to church every Sunday. Sunday morning everyone was full of religion. By mid-afternoon everyone was talking about someone behind their back. I live by a few Simple Rules. Be kind in what you do and what you say. Don't look back over your shoulder at what others are doing but rather look forward to what can be done. Sam and Polly you have an unbelievable story that I am so happy to hear. Keep looking forward.

We lived in Philadelphia MO for a little over a year. Glen and Ida Yoder were neighbors and great friends. Ida taught me how to make Amish donuts. My kids played with a visited Glens sister's kids. Great memories and wonderful people! Wonderful life story of their salvation and joy in Jesus!

Sitting here with my own new beginning that God have to me with remarrying and finding the one carrying our first child together-I can’t help but tearing up with their story and knowing the love and grace of God. Thank you for this encouraging and blessing of a video.

My conclusion is then that the amish people don't really know what the world of God is saying, they don't know the truth.

My Prayers are with you all. God is the only way. Lv an Prayers. I am not Amish but live in a big Amish Community around me.

God doesn’t give a HOOT what you wear-He loves you. He gave His only Son in order that we may all be saved. You sweet young people God lives you so dearly.

This is such a great story. So happy to see they left the church. My husband and I both grew up in an Amish family. Thank God the Lord started to draw us to Himself. We got saved a year and a half after we were married. And yes we had lots of opposition from our families and the church. That was in 1969. And have not looked back since. We found out we can know the Lord and not just ‘hope’ that ‘maybe’ make it to heaven. But even more than that we found we can know the Lord in a very personal way. Thank God for His mercy and grace!

So sad that people the world over experience such suffocation under the name of religion. I grew up strict, the church was far more strict than my parents and eventually my parents moved us to a different state. Far different view, focuses so much more on the relationship with Jesus. So thankful Jesus is touching lives everywhere!
