Absolutely. They also included wording that they normally do not: the "before judgment" phrase. A clear sign to bring it to the Supreme Court as soon as the ink is dry on the 4th District's ruling if they don't rule Pro-2A.

Theyve imported millions of voters. Several states have blocked cases blocking non legal folks from voting. Ran #'s to make sure registration of folks new here from other countries. Constitution is plain and simple and the criminals seated on the Supreme Court have negated the courts responsibility. Numbers are what counts. Nine on the court against 200m (or more) who lawfully keep and bear is no contest. They, the criminal court along with the 545 of Congress can and must be removed from office and placed in prison for not upholding this nation's Supreme Law..

All of Congress are complicit in this nation's downfall by shirking their responsibilities and committing treason against the Supreme Law and the people. All the Supreme Court did was rule that it would not take the case before final judgement in the Fourth Circuit. In fact, it is rare for SCOTUS to grant cert before final judgement in the circuit court of appeals.

I’m not sure you fully understand what the ruling was.. it essentially just said that the pending open case needs to be ruled on first.. read the ruling. It clearly states if further consideration is required it can be then. It’s a pretty normal standard to let the pending case to play out.. these judges were in the lower courts also. They don’t want to interfere until necessary. Basically the request to the SCOTUS was just premature

The Bruen decision did not help us in Maryland. The state immediately did the same thing that New York did, made every place a sensitive place. A little of that law (carry in restaurants and state roads) was overturned by a court, but the rest of this unconstitutional law was upheld. Now that SCOTUS has told Maryland (and all other states) that's they can legislate the 2A out of existence the next session of the Maryland legislature (and of the other Blue State legislatures) will end the 2A with SCOTUS' blessing.

In a way the Supreme Court ruled on this issue a couple of hundred years ago. Marbury the Madison 1803. SCOTUS Chief Justice John Marshall, "a law which is repugnant to the Constitution is void." This means that when a law is plainly or blatantly unconstitutional that the people are not obligated to follow it until some higher Court declares it to be unconstitutional. This is known as "Nullification". For more information on nullification give Thomas Jefferson's writings within the Kentucky Resolutions of 1798 a read through.

@Hunter4Life. In this modern era there are plenty of ways to arm one's self without complying with tyranny. I'll let you use your imagination on what those ways might be. Do you not think our founders felt the same way- the same fear of retaliation from a tyrannical government? I'm in that same boat that you describe. I have a family with young kids who rely on my single income to survive. But I'll be damned if the message I give to my kids is "give up your rights and comply with tyrants for safety". Our government's ONLY legitimate role is to support and DEFEND the Constitution of the United States of America. Yet instead of defending it and our Rights (as listed in the Bill of Rights) our government has become drunk on power and fears retaliation from the people, either for what has been done, or what it plans to do. The Supreme Court is reluctant to become activist . They want lower courts to settle most issues so SCOTUS is free to address large Constitutional issues that cannot be resolved at a lower level . It is frustrating that it takes the legal system so long to render verdicts we see as common sense . Places hostile to the civil and Constitutional rights of ordinary citizens need to either rise up with greater authority or relocate to a more fair jurisdiction .

The Supreme Court follows procedure and rarely performs in the activist manner you want it to here in this video. FYI, here in New York, there are AR-15s on the wall of every gun shop available for purchase with the appropriate liscence, or you can build one without a liscence. The biggest obstacle we have to our gun rights here in Upstate NY is the companies and individuals that refuse to support the 2nd Amendment on gunbroker and folks like PSA not selling legal items to NY residents.

Was saying that you were blown away a good choice of words? Truthfully, things get sent down or back to the lower courts for multiple reasons. Therefore, I would not assume that the Supreme Court is afraid tobrule. More likely they want the lower court to make a better ruling as it conforms to the nature and historical validity of the Constitution.

This video is wholly inaccurate. The Maryland case is about older gun restrictions, the Illinois cases are much more on point w/ current issues. Mark Smith @ 4 boxes diner put this situation in much better perspective. Go watch Mark & learn the potential reasoning behind the high court not addressing Maryland because the Illinois issues would till remain unchallenged. I really dislike hyperbole resulting in misinformation.

Respectfully, you are incorrect. The Maryland case was at the circuit court and they hadn't ruled yet. The plaintiffs were seeking cert before they ruled because the lower court was just sitting on the case. Once the circuit rules against them, then they reapply to SCOTUS. No reason to stir everyone up over it yet.

I am from Africa and take it from me , please do not let them take away your freedoms. They did exactly this to us and now we have one of the toughest gun laws in the world BUT we are one of the top 5 most dangerous country in the World. GUN LAWS DO NOT STOP CRIME - IT ACTUALLY ONLY HANDSOVER THE POWER TO THE CRIMINALS.

They didn't grant sert because the case has not been judged and ruled on. It's just the way the court works.

I don’t understand the process but there is a reason why they are waiting for the lower courts to make a decision. It is the way the system is designed to work they have not made any decision yet and they are waiting for the other courts to make decisions first.

Moving to another state that supports 2A isn't a victory. It only confirms that there is an end to citizens' rights.

Until a final decision is made in the fourth district the supreme court generally will do nothing. The legal term is inner locatory. They're not gonna make a decision until they get a final decision from the four center. But they are going to take it up.Just we don't like to speed.
