lol. The Stangg deck I played in this episode is the SAME deck as the one played in Commander At Home. I borrowed it from AD! They just happened to come out back to back.
Rachel, there was a Bothersome Quasit in both this game and C@H, and you didn't say "he's so bothersome" for either, and I was bummed. It's like the "Staaaang" thing the others were doing, I feel like the line /must/ be uttered.
Curious what the logic was behind using Beast Within to take out the Remora which was likely going away anyway rather than taking out the giant goading dragon that was going to run train on the table.
I've been waiting ti see Firkraag in one of these for so long. One of my favorite commanders, Goad is just so fun to play. Glad to see the groups reactions to Firkraag are basically the same as my groups 😂
This game was fantastic! Just a really great vibe where everyone seems like they're having fun. Maybe just the combination of players, but maybe people bringing the decks they own/ realy like was contributing too
Great episode! Hoping we get 2 game knights episodes for karlov manor, one with commanders from the set and one where you guys dress up for the clue cards
I have one which has been my pride and joy these last few months. I’ve been experimenting with different themes like a birthing pod/sac matters theme vs a golem token deck vs like an etb value deck. I looove talking about Brenard and ways to make him work, so if you have any questions please ask!! I will just say one of my favorite things is how flexible the budget can be. You can go all out and run all the good stuff, but there are a ton of great sac/etb value cards, and obviously most of the splicers are super cheap.
i would like to know how jimmy hand this combo. how would handle someone casting 2 ankh of mishra turn one. turn 2 orb of dreams then turn 3 storm cauldron then turn 4 umbilicus on the table.
I've got to ask : did Rachel build Stangg BEFORE or AFTER filming the recent Commander at Home video with Kibler, Olivia and Aaron Defazio ? Since Aaron was also playing Stangg, I found that timing quite funny ^^
@@KnicKnac he tends to meme out on mtg goldfish and stuff and I actually kinda find him annoying there, which is ironic because i actually really love his guest appearances on other shows quite alot.
@@TinyLegs15243 He is more entertaining than Phil or Tomer from Golden fish those two have zero personality. Olive and Crim are more entertaining when I have it on in the background
@@KnicKnacPhil hating is not gonna be tolerated. Have you ever watched his series brewers kitchen? He’s got plenty of personality I just think he’s a bit shy on camera.
I had a stangg deck, the games usually went how this one went, it's too slow, he has no haste (he really should), equipment/auras take too long to gather on him and in red/green it's too hard to protect him (no counter spells). I ended up taking it apart because it's just too weak and boring.
@@shinigami052 Tamiyos Safekeeping, Deflecting Swat, Veil Of Summer, Tyvar's Stand, Heroic Intervention, Tibalt's Trickery, Pyroblast, Red Elemental Blast + all the good hexproof auras/equipments should really be enought to let him stick around. Stangg is a hell of a card draw engine. My playgourp play power level 8+ and Stangg is really in the middle of decks. If you don't have the budget for a good Stangg deck, I get your point.
I think I figured out what I don’t like about Extra Turns, and it’s the space boarder around the whole episode. I zoomed my screen to try to focus on souly the game as much as possible, and it just felt like another episode of classic game knights. I was able to just focus more on the game rather then all these other distracting elements going on outside the game,
I always love the Ultra Pro ads that try to sell it as the epitome of card protection. Then people actually go out and buy Ultra Pro sleeves and they split/ ripple after a single game lmao.
I know it's a nitpick, but the land fetched with Fabled Passage enters tapped, then untaps if you control 4 or more. I understand that it's a shorthand, but it's inaccurate all the same. Still a great game though
Josh needed Rachel to survive. He shouldn't have politicked for Jamie to attack her. Jamie probably still would have, but it certainly wasn't in the table's interest.
Hey there! I always love Extra Turns, but if I could make one suggestion/request: Could you leave the images of the cards played on longer on the screen? Then I wouldn't have to constantly stop the video to read them. Why not always leave the last two cards up there and only replace them if the next is played?
im not sure if there was a way the arc bound ravager could have been leveraged better to make that turn where josh neutralized the threats he could any better but the turn the monument would have left his control he could have saced it to the ravager to at least get some value out of it leaving his control. crim playing fair magic- kinda a novelty. stangg plus skull clamp pretty good, poor thing was goaded into oblivion.
So I just got the packs that I bought on your guys whatnot stream. 2 wilds of eldraine set boosters. And the first pack was a banger. 5 rares. The 2 that were awesome was a throne of eldraine and a virtue of knowledge showcase card. The second pack was a dud, but what a pull from a pack I bought from you guys!
goad is Such a good ability for a 4player game. if no one has answers Especially with jamie's commander..it ran away faster then I thought it would. nice job. im sure josh is cringing in the back of his head wishing he had blue in rachel's deck
