Not a real heavy metal fan but I do appreciate this cover a lot. It respects the original in a creative way. Great musicians, even if I expected a bass solo like John's one in the middle! :-)
It is 5am. I'm working and I move my head in time of music with a big smile on my face. I hope not fired me... But who cares, it will be worth it!! Greetings from Italy!!
Truly awesome take on this track! And love the "King" name angle. One beef that Taylor / Mercury were credited. On this album all members get full credit for everything. I know Roger wrote the song and Freddie write the intro, but this band democracy is what gave us these latter year gems. Can't wait to hear more!!
This is a pretty epic cover! Never been a metal fan cos I thought it was just “noise”. Hence I always though metal singers weren’t actually singers but... wow have you changed my perception! Thing is I’m now thinking that as a singer you were holding back in this. I get the feeling your voice is way more!
Thanks for your nice comment. In fact metal is a family of rock music which includes, most of the time, melodic stuff. Queen is not considered as a hard rock or metal band because they also did pop songs. It was a rock band which did heavy metal songs. About the voice I don't know, check the other ones on our channel and tell us about it. Cheers!
Thanks for your kind words. An album would be great but the first goal is touring. 2 others vids are here! I hope you'll enjoy it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yMkmJMqrw-s.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y31Hbun_mos.html
@@kingqueenhardrocktribute so we are cousins somehow, I'm from Turin! I was in Chambéry when I was a kid: I remember a statue called "les quatre sans cul" and an amazing dish with chicken I ate in a restaurant :) Your cover is amazing btw, congrats!
@@kingqueenhardrocktribute Of Course!!!!! You guys sound amazing! You definitely should release all songs that have been recorded! I've been listening your versions for years and it gives me another reason to love Queen .... and King!!!!
My opinion... only my opinion: too much drums. Too many hits and too much volume. Yeah, I know what metal is, but I would have preferred a more articulated drum playing, with more variations. Overall the performance is very good but it seems like the musicians were driveres who simply accelerate and go straight. So, where are the curves? ;-)
Our point of view is simple. We are metal music lovers and players who want to end the circle which began for us with Queen. And we try to do that humbly.
