Reckon if ya tightened ya drag mate , and tried to flip it up with the rod , ya ma have got it . 👍🤔 that's the method I use . Anyway great work mate ,, ya did the hard yards and got a few . 👍🎣
awesome session Mick, didn't think it was possible fishing there, used to go around the aquarium a lot with the kids but never seen anyone fished :D. RIP Cranka Crab
Nice mate. Definitely worth dead sticking them for a good 10 secs once they hit the bottom. Been hit heaps of times after I've left it and start to wind back up. No need to jig it, I don't reckon - the claws do all the action for you.
Hey khaled, they are both decent rods, depends what you prefer but usually any rod between the 1-3kg range works well. Td black and the hyper I can’t really pick between the both
@@flickwithmick pretty clear "15 Fishing in Darling Harbour area A person must not, except as authorised by the Authority, take or attempt to take, or harm, any fish in the Darling Harbour area (other than in Cockle Bay). Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units." and 1 x penalty unit is $110
Ahh mate! Thats happened to me before same time of yr around Sydney marinas. After Bream and hooked this 70+ Flattie and was on 4lb, shook his head near the surface and gone! Hurts thats for sure.
Thanks man! Gets frustrating at times trying different stuff but the crabs are definitely a great lure around structures, hopefully ill produce better sessions than this around the corner 🙏🏼
@@flickwithmick Unfortunately im only the undersized tailor master at the moment. Used my cranka last week for the first time. Im like fuck it, if i lose it, i lose it. Better than it sitting in the tackle box
