Talking about something controversial is always something I shy away from more than shopping in person Black Friday sales... however, this is a very important topic that I felt morally obligated to share with my special community. Feeling sick all the time, showing signs of auto immune disease, feeling like I was going crazy, and not being heard are all things I never want to feel again. So if my story helps shed some light onto you, I've done my job. Please remember that this video IS NOT meant to persuade or dissuade you from any important decision you are trying to make. It is only to share my perspective, and perhaps make you aware of something that hasn't been introduced to you. I hope my story comforts you just as publishing it has done for me.

The sad thing is that this is how women get treated by doctors. How many times do we have to hear that it's a panic attack or stress?? I'm glad you were able to figure it out 🤗♥️🙏

Several people in my life have tried suggesting that I may be hypoglycemic/ diabetic and one of them is a nurse. Several people. As in 4-5. When I mentioned to my doctor the weird symptoms and issues I was having, she waved me off and said, and I quote, "Everyone has those same issues. It's part of being human." I was so angry after that. And now I understand why people struggle with talking to their doctor.

What makes me mad beyond is my grandma's doctors kept giving her creams and crap for a 'rash' she had under her breast. She kept going to the doctor and finally saw someone else... Stage 4 breast cancer. I hope that doctor is fired because we don't have money to take her to court! My grandmother is dead no thanks to her. Keep fighting if you feel off. Also, stand up for your kids because you don't have to do what others want.

I canceled my breast augmentation 2 hours before my surgery for this very reason. I have kids...and the night before doubt starting going in my mind whether I wanted to do it or not or if it was just pre jitters. But it didn’t let me sleep all night and after hours of sitting up late it just hit me. I didn’t want to put myself or my kids through something unnecessary. I’m glad I didn’t. Thank you for sharing!

As a Latina that works in an inpatient psych hospital, the stigma of mental health within the Hispanic culture is SO REAL and UNFORTUNATE.
@heyyyitskat
@heyyyitskat 4 года назад
Oof I feel that to my soul. I personally am not Latina, but my partner is. It took her years to even admit that she was struggling with depression, anxiety, and severe panic attacks. Her parents don’t even believe in doctors in general. Thankfully, she has been able to work through that. It just really broke my heart to see her hurt so badly and for her family to not be able to understand that there was something wrong. Her youngest sister is bipolar and refuses to go to a doctor or take any medication after that initial diagnosis because she just doesn’t believe that’s it’s real. I hope that as we move forward, we’ll be able to dispel that idea and that mental health becomes a priority in all cultures 💕
@xcharmii11

Yeah it's very real in our Taiwanese culture too. It's very taboo and you're just labeled as "weak" or "crazy" or "dramatic". It's saddening to see my friends suffer thru psych symptoms and their families degrade them for it. It's a definite shame

My breast augmentation is scheduled for next month and I am going to cancel. I think I came across this video for a reason. My aunt suffered from extreme depression, chest pain, memory loss, headaches, irritability, fatigue along with other symptoms before she passed away. The doctors just made her out to be crazy. I literally could not sleep last night bc I just don’t think I want to go through with it. I don’t know if there is any correlation between her symptoms and her boob job. But I think I came across this video for a reason. Thank you. Breast implant illness needs to be talked about more.

I’m 8 months post op breast implant removal, all my “mysterious” symptoms that started about 2 yrs after getting them, are all gone!! I had them 8 years. So not worth the risk. It’s a foreign body and your body will always try to reject them and cause inflammatory issues. Whether the symptoms are apparent or not. This video may not be saying not to get them, but I’m saying, if you’re considering them, don’t do it. If you have them, get them out. Prayers ladies 💝 so glad like you, I stumbled upon BII stories and wondered the same thing. As a nurse, if I wouldn’t have gone through my experience myself, I wouldn’t have necessarily believe the BII bit. It made sense clinically, but I didn’t want to believe it. Why? Because they ingrain in women these surgeries are “safe”. They’re not and NOTHING is worth jeopardizing good health! SO glad you’re better Dani 🙌🙏❤️
@OrleidisLozada
@OrleidisLozada 4 года назад
What symptoms did you have?
@Rebfamily.11
@Rebfamily.11 4 года назад
@@OrleidisLozada Sore muscle pain in my neck and shoulders constantly - I would BEG for my husband to give me massages all the time, I was SO sore 24-7. I couldn't lay on my sides, particularly my right side. I had to wear a bra 24-7 or my boobs would hurt. Chest pain, my chest bone felt bruised, collar bones the same. Often I would wake up and my chest bone would make a cracking noise upon waking up, similar to like if you would move your neck or back to stretch and it would crack. Heart palpitations (very scary and serious. I had to have a cardiovascular work up and developed a heart murmur with small valve leak- all documented and linked to breast implants as I later researched. The implant weighs down the chest wall changing the anatomy of your heart and surround tissues and muscle), irrational anxiety, extreme itchy skin (dry cracking bleeding)(my surgeon said he had seen this before in women and went away after implant removal), abnormal clump of tissue on my right breast they thought might have been cancerous but because I had implants and such pain I could not get a mammogram to rule that out, enlarged and painful lypmh node on the right side of my neck, teeth issues (particular teeth are tied to certain neural pathways and blood vessels I read, and the ones that they linked to having issues with Bii are the ones I had to get root canals on the past 8 years - 2 root canals one crown), dull skin, advanced signs of aging particularly on my skin, so many other little things but thats what I can think of right now, I'm sure I'm missing some. Like Dani, I wrote it off as other things and even up until surgery I wasn't convinced of Bii, but when I got them out and all these things just went AWAY, right away some of them... and over time, of only 6 months things have gotten better. I could BREATHE, I didn't even think I had trouble breathing until I felt the instant relief after surgery. I am a firm believer in it. And as an RN... sometimes question things like well, health wise they probably aren't healthy or make up other excuses but in reality, it makes sense. Breast implants are a foreign body and just like when someone gets a organ transplant, they have to take special meds so the body wont reject it, or when someone gets a knee replacement, sometimes the body rejects it... it's the same thing with implants. All these symptoms are auto immune and inflammatory responses from the body. The muscle/tissue and bone issues are a matter of basic explanation - you have implants that werent once there. It affects you! Just as aging women with larger breasts get reductions due to back pain. The problem is there isn't enough awareness and warning from surgeons. They know it. even as women, we just breeze by the warning disclosure paperwork we sign because we either just want implants or think that it couldn't be us. When I got mine, I got the whole thing from my surgeon, it's safe, FDA approved blah blah blah... well simple medicine tells us the opposite. You just have to dig a little. Back when I got mine Bii wasn't a thing. Do your research and KNOW it's NOT worth it. This was a huge waste of money and I wish I would have known better to tell the younger me to not be persuaded.
@Rebfamily.11
@Rebfamily.11 4 года назад
Please be sure to find a reputable surgeon who has experience with this. I found a BII group with my state, FL, that had approved list of BOARD certified plastic surgeons. I consulted with 3. 2 didn’t feel safe doing a en bloc style removal that I wanted. Make sure you get a surgeon that will completely and entirely remove scar tissue as it’s where the toxins that leach from the implants are concentrated. I saw this example and thought it was good... removing implants and leaving the capsule tissue is like dumping trash out of a trash bag... the bag is still going to hold bits of trash and stink. Have to take out the whole bag! Same goes with these implants. Find someone safe because it is a skill to properly and safely remove scar tissue, especially if it adheres to surrounding tissues. I did not have contractures issues with my implants. Be safe and research! ❤️

I explanted and now I feel 90% better and I finally have my life back! I'm so happy that the FDA finally recognized breast implant illness ( it's listed on the first FDA link you provided). Don't forget to report your medical issues due to B.I.I. on their website. You are so brave for sharing your experience and spreading awareness! God bless you and your journey to healing!

I also suffer with autoimmune issues, including lupus. I had my implants removed a few months ago and my symptoms have not improved.

Dani you are so beautiful, vulnerable and so strong. When you were sharing about your attack and thinking what your mom would believe you were broken💔... I know that feeling. It is so sad that after an attack we believe we are the ones wearing a scarlet letter. I relate so deeply to this. You are such an incredible lady and I am so blessed to have you “in my life”. I know I went through something similar medically where I believed I was CRAZY... because all my doctors dismissed my concerns. I remember one dr. told me I must be depressed and he thought I should be suicidal with how “sick” I was. I told him if this is depression I am the happiest depressed person I have ever known 😂. I felt like there had to be more... I kept searching all the while every dr. thought I was making things up. It was so frustrating and infuriating. I began to believe this is just normal being so sick and tired. After years of being broken and hating myself for being “lazy”, overweight, and in chronic pain for no reason I met a dr. who listened. I was so skeptical and had no strength to hope anymore. I learned I had an autoimmune disease. I knew there was something wrong but didn’t know where to look because everyone was treating my symptoms not the source. We have to be detectives for ourselves and fight for our health and wellness. I am so glad you fought to find the truth. Dani thank you for your transparency and vulnerability. ❤️

Girl…. I really appreciate this video. April 12 will be ten years since I got mine done and I have been experiencing sooooo many of the same symptoms as you and YES I didnt believe it could be my implants because I was told “they’re safe unless you rupture “ so it literally took a shift in my programming to realize that these severe symptoms I’m having most recently now that I’m peri menopausal (massive estrogen spikes and SEVERE progesterone dips) have to be contributed by the implants. My labs always look “normal “ except an elevated marker that indicates bacteria which my nature path says “could be anything “ yet it’s been in all my labs for months! Low D, low iron, anxiety, hair loss. Nails look like crap! I eat very good rich in vitamin Whole Foods so I feel like the answer is where the doctors refuse to look. I brought it up to her months ago “could it be my implants?” We both shrugged it off. I’m now consulting with a surgeon for my removal. Again, this video hit me ❤️

Now I'm dealing with severe chronic hives. I've booked in my breast explant surgery capsulectomy and lift for Friday 20th may. I'm so excited to allow my body to heal and feel alot better. Dani !!! Your video had the same effect on me as Jennifer Stano’s had on you , I have been ill since September 2019 one year after implant replacement surgery,it started with a huge Panic attack out of nowhere and went downhill from there , I cried so hard when I watched your video because I literally had no idea why I was feeling this way , my symptoms were So similar to yours it’s SCARY , the noise aversion, scared of crowds , couldn’t go to family celebrations because I would panic so bad I’d need medication to come down , can’t drive anywhere, can’t go shops I’m literally stuck at home all day , it’s like suddenly i cannot handle stress and i have sensory overload,I also have shortness of breath (even going up one flight of stairs in my home ), heart palpitations in the middle of the night , gut issues extreme fatigue etc.... My husband literally thought I was going crazy , he called me a fruitcake , thought I was just lazy and unmotivated I spent $$ seeing specialists to help me , went to see a Naturopath did a bunch of tests my cortisol levels were through the roof , iron levels so low , low progesterone, low Vitamin B , C and D .... As for my doctors he just offered me antidepressants and referred me to a psychiatrist 🙄 I KNEW all along something was off with me and I knew SOMETHING was causing it and it took me until I saw your video to understand what and I believe it was a wake up call from God that your video just appeared to me on YT, I showed my husband your video fast forwarded to where you talk about your symptoms and he looked at me shocked and realised I wasn’t full of shit after all .It nearly cost me my marriage. I’m hopefully Explanting in the next couple of months and I’m literally counting down the days to feeling normal again x From the bottom of my heart Thank you

Never be afraid to say something is wrong and I’m not going to stop until I get an answer. I got an IUD and shortly after my always normal blood pressure went to 203/115. My gyno, my primary, my ER doctor all said they’d never heard of it, it shouldn’t cause that, etc. I demanded to have IUD removed immediately and guess what, my stroke level blood pressure came down

Susan Backes Thats so crazy ! I had problems with my IUD too and my doctor wouldn’t believe me. I had vertigo, extreme dizziness, headaches, and crazy intense mood swings. When I said I think it’s my IUD they said, I don’t think so it only happens to 4% of women so that can’t be it. Like you, I advocated for myself and I immediately felt better. All of my symptoms immediately went away. It’s so important to not give up for fighting for your body when you know something is wrong ! ❤️

I have implants since 2002 and have a wide variety of BII systems .I taked to my PCP and was told well you have these other health problems so that's what you are feeling and many of my health issues overlap in symptoms.😶😏😒. She did get an appointment with a cosmetic surgeon and I spoke to the surgeon office and they were adamant about they would remove my old ones BUT, they would not send them for testing or even realizing that BII was real and a huge concern for me. I still have my implants and cant afford to pay out of pocket for the surgery . I do have insurance and I just want more information that I've been getting on my end. Now the fact that I have vertigo, headaches, which the drs say are spinal related, growing anxiety which they blame on the fact that my hubby passed away in 2015 . I have eczema, lipomas, blurry vision...but drs say your mom had MS, your dad had eczema and your inability to sleep is cuz you are stressed and blurry vision .well I have had horrible vision since the 2nd grade ..the drs are happy to send me to their pain clinics and physical therapy units . Thank you. I've had my implants for 10 years and I've gradually noticed my health deteriorating. I used to be a very active, healthy energized person. Through the years I've been plagued with different conditions, extremes fatigue, sinus infections, heavy/painful period, unexplained chest pain usually attributed to"anxiety", skin issues, gut issues, to the point where I've thought that maybe I have colon cancer. Assumed that maybe it's the aging process since I'm in my 40's, the mood swings are crazy, I too am noise sensitive. I'm doing my research on explantation because I wasn't this sickly before the implants. I'm afraid of what I will look like after since my implants are fairly large and I too was flat. My weight gain has been horrendous, even at my many attempts of exercise and diet. Most days I feel so drained. I have no sex drive and my partner mentioned the other day that he had never met anyone who was always sick like I am. I feel OLD and unmotivated. I don't have Health insurance and will have to pay out of pocket, but I need to get my life back.

Thank you for sharing your story, and being a fighter all this time. Thank you for not giving up and for facing your fears and taking the steps to allow your body to be healthy again to be natural. My heart broke for you while you talked about your struggles seeking medical help for all those years. I have watched dozens of women's videos about B.I.I and their explant experiences, and wow, what an amazing group of strong, brave, intelligent women you all are! Your experiences especially truly prove how broken, uneducated, and closed minded our medical system is, our Western Medicine specifically. I have a passion for natural, holistic, and homeopathic medicine that started when I had my son 12 years ago and experienced so many health issues and symptoms, that were unexplained, ignored, excused, that I had to do my own research to find the ROOT CAUSE. Such an important term, yet so many docs ignore and just treat symptoms. We, as women especially, need to understand and love ourselves so much, and constantly stand up for ourselves, and push for the right help. It's exhausting, confusing, emotionally draining, psychologically intimidating, etc. but SO needed and SO worth it. Thank you for being true to yourself, for Inspiring others, and for making a positive impact in this world. ❤❤❤❤❤

Even those who don’t have implants but are suffering medical issues and not getting help from their doctor can learn from this video the simple lesson of - be you own strongest advocate. Find a doctor that listens to you and doesn’t just brush your concerns aside with a condescending and frankly insulting reply. We have to be unyielding in our pursuit of health and force our doctors to listen. This is in no way shape or form related to the video I was watching. How did I come across this? I believe when God speaks he whispers... and this was placed in front of me for a reason. After watching only 2 videos I can tell you with 100% confidence that I will NEVER do this! I know you said this video was not made to defer anybody from getting implants, but I feel like this is what I was looking for. Someone to tell me not to do it because deep down I never really wanted to. Thank you Danny ❤

I am scheduled for EXPLANT surgery in less than a month on April 13th! I have had them 16 years and for the last 8-10 years I have had so many issues and no doctor can ever find anything wrong with me. I just figured that I had some sort of rare undetectable cancer that was slowly killing my at age 56! Then someone on FB made a post in our home town about her implants and making her sick and I knew immediately I have BII !!! Thank you for sharing!!!

Oh Dani ❤️ I’ve been through this 2x in my life. Once after I had my daughter and was put off and told no one knew what was wrong, until they put a blanket progressive heart diagnosis (after seeing three different doctors who all disagreed with each other) on me. I had extremely low vitamin D levels, once I got started supplementing on that for a few months and taking care of myself better I got well and they took the heart failure label off of me. Then in November, while pregnant, I had spent nearly two months telling my OB I was sick. I got the “Welcome to older age (I was newly 34) and pregnant” line 🙄 once the chest pain got unmediated by tylenol I was directed to the ER the day after thanksgiving. After every test and finally a ct scan, I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia. It felt like my life force was slowly leaking out for months, and no one but my husband believed me. It’s been the biggest truth to learn: always, always, always be my own advocate. Thankfully my husband was in the battle for/with me at the ER when they tried to just symptom diagnose with micro clots in my lungs 🤦🏻‍♀️ he knew that wasn’t right and fought to get a more in depth look at my problem. I’m so glad you’ve found your health again Dani, so so happy. Thank you for sharing your story with us ❤️

I have all the symptoms. I am very proud of myself for not giving up and looking for answers. God sent me a Facebook video on BII and that very moment I knew that was the answer. I am already scheduled for sugerir in a few days. I am happy to hear that you felt different the very next day. 🙏

The noise aversion!! Yes! I totally have this and it’s the worst! I’m definitely getting a consultation for an explant because of this and most of the symptoms of BII for 2 years. I’ve had implants for 8 years. I’m ready to get these out of me!!

Thank you for sharing your story❤️ I’ve had my implants for 8 years now. About a week ago I experienced the worst headaches and extreme fatigue I have ever had and I just knew something is deeply wrong. I looked up BII and I just knew this is coming from my implants. I scheduled a consultation and can’t wait to get these out of my body ASAP

I'm so glad you figured it out, got your answers, made your changes and changed your life. I get all those symptoms and more as well as chronic pain but sadly. I'm almost 37 and dont have implants, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 2 yrs ago then 1 yr ago hypothyroidism. Anybody with these conditions and others would kill to have it all taken away. I'm so glad your 1 of the lucky few that did get the magic wand and your quality of life improved. Your very brave to share your story and im glad it had a happy ending.

I had my breast implants for 4 years and had them removed 2 years ago, it was the best decision of my life. I had similar symptoms and even almost passed out while I was driving with my children in the car. I went to the ER and they couldn’t tell me what was wrong with me. I read into BII and knew this is what I was experiencing and didn’t think twice about getting them removed. Since then I haven’t experienced any of those symptoms which is so crazy to me because this is a real thing.

I know this video will touch someone and make a difference because you did the same for me when you openly talked about your anemia experience. Because of you I finally went to see an Oncologist about my anemia and I was experiencing the SAME thing and post iron infusions my life was changed. I never knew how bad I felt until I felt better. It was just my normal. The shitty part now is that my iron levels have dropped drastically again and all of my symptoms are back but I can’t get anyone to help me find the CAUSE. The iron infusions provide a great bandaid for a little while but why is it happening to begin with? I don’t have implants but your continuing to push has inspired me once again to keep fighting for answers and not just settle for “this is my life and getting infusion therapy every 3 months to feel good for 2 will just be what I have to do.” Thank you! For your courage, your honesty, your willingness to be open. I am forever grateful! As a single mama post divorce you inspire me to know that real love is out there too! Now, if this stupid Corona virus can stop so I don’t lose my business...🤪 Sometimes you just have to laugh at it all and you help with that too!

I am interested in that, too. And Julie and Linda - anemia can have so many reasons. if it doesn't change after taking them out, go to blood oncologist. I am anemic if I don't take iron supplements since my period started and I don't have implants (never had them).

Great video. I had my implants removed six months ago. I ended up in the ER with numbness on the left side of my body. My leg, arm, and face were numb. So scary. Those numbness symptoms are gone now. I also had not remembered my dreams in years. Three weeks after my explant I started to have vivid dreams. It's amazing how these toxins from the implants affect your brain.

What I truly love about your video is that you have the courage you show a very machista society that puts your real problems on the side and never listen to you. It takes a lot of strength to show your family as they are (and it’s true) with there flaws, and also recognizing how great it’s to have a family and be able to change those situations. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this video, Dani. I have followed you for many years now and I heard about BII relatively recently. I myself have had implants for about 5 years now, but to be honest I was skeptic about BII because the list of symptoms seemed endless and unrelated, so I thought those who felt better after removing the implants, were under a placebo effect. Nowadays though, and after seeing you (someone I trust) talk about it, I'm having second thoughts about my own situation in regards to how I feel inside my own skin. Being a young woman I thought it was all normal, and maybe it is, who knows, but I've been struggling with my own little package: anxiety, eating disorder, depression, irritability, insecurity, acne, hair loss, amongst others. Some frequent symptoms I do not have, such as fatigue or headaches, and that makes me think I'm just trying to label myself with an illness to excuse myself. Thank you for sharing this with us. I want you to know I feel like I have a friend in you, and I will do my research because if my decision back then, when I was ignorant, is causing me harm now, that I know better, it's on me. Thank you❤️
