I breastfeed my son and he takes any bottle. I mean ANY. I have dr.browns and avent bottles that we use regularly. I also have a cheap walmart one and snappies from the hospital with a enfamil nipple. I know I am lucky that he doesnt prefer a certain bottle. I offered them all to him right away and he isnt picky. He also will latch and feed directly from the breast.

I tried everything.... Dr Brown wide .. avent natural.. platex.. and yesterday I tried with the Bare and my baby did not like it... since you mentioned the bottle with red color.. I will try it

Do you think you could do a video on introducing solids and how to balance solids with breast milk feeding as well. I exclusively pump and am wondering how you balanced introducing baby food while keeping your girls drinking plenty of breast milk as well. Would LOVE if you could make a video happen!

Do you do have a vlog on why you choose to exclusively pump? I'm just curious as I'm considering it myself. My first baby had tongue a tie and I'm expecting again and preparing myself in the event he is also tongue tied. I understand if it's personal and you don't talk about it. Just curious.

GBU for making this video! This is what ive been looking for. One question if i have a small baby/premmie would u recommend dr brown wide neck? Or just use the narrow neck (i want to breastfeed n exclusive pump too)?

I'm glad it could help! I would probably get one of each to start off, they may have no problem latching onto the wide neck but just in case they do the standard would help with that! I'm not sure if they have adapters for their wide neck bottles but their standard bottles fits and attaches to most breast pumps so that may be convenient for exclusively pumping(:

Hi! I just wanted to ask if you didn't find the Mimijumi nipples to be a little hard/stiff. I found some reviews online saying that the Mimijumi nipples were stiff. Is that true? I want to introduce a bottle to my exclusively breastfed 20-month old daughter for times when I can't breastfeed her. My top choices are Mimijumi, Comotomo or the Nuby Natural Touch. Which one is the best for you (both in terms of functionality and value for money)? PS. We tried Dr. Brown's standard bottle and she doesn't like them. She won't even put the nipple in her mouth. :( Thanks!

I would say that the Mimijumi nipple is harder than most but not unrealistically so either. Personally I liked the Comotomo and Nuby the best but that's because they worked so well for my daughters. They all preform exceptionally so I would start with the Nuby since it's such a bargain. Then if that doesn't work, Comotomo(:

i tried Nuk(with its latex nipple) and my daughter loves it so much even it will leak abit when u upside-down the bottle.

You mentioned really liking the flow on the Tommee tippee ultra as no milk comes out when tipped. Have you ever tried the regular closer to nature bottles by them? I received them for my baby shower (requested by me) thinking they'd be great for transitioning between breast and bottle and when placed only horizontally so not even tipped the slow flow have a steady (fast) drip drip drip. My baby would have milk leaking out all over her face, choke and puke. This "fast flow" slow flow seems to be a common complaint when googled. So would you say this problem has been remedied with the new ultra bottles?

Yep, I did try them! They're in another review on my channel(: But yep, I would say the Ultras fix that problem! Comotomo is a really great slow flow bottle or Nuby Naturals is a more budget friendly option(:

I don’t believe I did and I think they discontinued it😫 Were you looking for a very slow flow? If so Boon Nursh is comparable! Little more expensive than the Nuby’s but also a kind of unique system

I've had no luck with the barre bottles! My son chokes on the milk everytime wth this bottle and it runs down his chin so we end up wasting a lot.

what bottle would you most recommend for my baby that has been exclusively breastfed for her first 5 months ? I've been trying the Dr browns wide neck but she just won't take it, she starts to gag and just chews on it and I don't want to spend so much money on test trials 😧

Have you tried a more narrow based nipple? Like the standard DB's, the mOmma bottle or Joovy? I would try one of those to see if she prefers a different nipple shape. If she doesn't like those I would try MAM(:

I saw Nuby came out with a new bottle that has a weighted straw in it geared towards babies with reflux and the nipple is super slow flow(: Or wide neck Dr. Drown's with a premie sized nipple! '

What if you have a fast let down. My baby barely has to work at the breast to get milk. That being said he does prefer the second half of the feed when my flow slows down.

you said you love the comotomo bottle but in another review you said it gave your first child gas? correct me if i am wrong...and your second child didn't take it much ?

Nope, you're right! It gave her gas because her lip tie didn't allow her to latch to the bottle correctly. It was a great bottle and works well, just not for my oldest. And my youngest prefers the odd shape of the MAM bottle. But in my opinion it's one of the better options for nursing moms considering price and nipple flow speed!

For all my bottles I used either just a boiling pot of water or the Medela Steam bags. I believe with the Joovy I used the steam bags, just make sure you follow the bags instructions so they don't warp(: and I actually don't own a bottle warmer. I just do hot water in a coffee mug!
