The fact that Link stayed after the door was slammed in his face tells me this isn’t the first time that this has happened with Zelda specifically.

It truly takes the whole Triforce of courage to take that door slam as a “she’s not ready” instead of rejection. Also pleasantly surprised that Revali showed up. I expected Sidon to be the other wingman, but puns.

i love how pringus really humanizes all of the characters, giving them normal clothes, normal houses, normal food, normal stuff to do. it feels really cozy and nice.

Idk why, but I think it'd be hilarious if instead of slamming the door, Zelda had used stasis to keep Link there until she was ready.

For Link to still wait at the door after being slammed in the face like that and waited who knows how many hours for her, is one hell of a patient man. And for him to understand Zelda's situation with only a few seconds of seeing her with no words being exchange and knew that she wasn't ready, that is a good observant and understanding boyfriend. Zelda, my girl, do NOT let this one get away!

Link’s perspective: SEVERAL HOURS LATER

Link's patience is amazing. After all, he did wait for a divine dragon to come by.

The fact link waited after getting the door slammed on him really just shows his dedication and hope.

Can we just appreciate how patient Link was waiting for Zelda after she slammed the door in his face? Considering how long it might have taken for the makeover, he could have been out there for a while.

Honestly, Link probably would've taken her out on a date even if she looked like a total mess.

Little thing, I loved that each of the girls had their own character. Impa is slightly more stoic "our princess needs us" Mipha is the excited and adorable "OMG YAAAY" without going overboard and Urbosa is chill, just the older sister who is just helping out

can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that Link waited patiently outside that whole time? if that's not dedication I don't know what is.

Funny thing is, Link probably would have been just fine with her like she was to begin with

A lot of people are saying that they're surprised Link didn't leave once he had a door slammed in his face, but keep in mind that Link has the Triforce of Courage, so it makes sense that he wouldn't just immediately leave.

Alt Ending: "Hey Zelda nice sweater---uh, is Mipha here?"

Imagine if link was like “fuck this, I’m out” before Zelda came out ready.

I have no idea what this is but it looks good so far... Spoiler: It was...

What I’ve learned is that Link is is the most patient being ever to exist. He just sat there, assuming she would come back, for presumably a couple hours, at least.

Imagine all that just for him to say “is mipha here?”

That was nice. In the next part, can we expect a date between them, going to Castle town, or on a picnic through Hyrule fields? Will a monster attack and "Link" has to improvise weapons to defeat it? The ending barely shows us a date, I would like to see more creative things occur with these two, rather than simply standing over a bridge. Heck even that final segment could have been made more romantic by having them feeding ducks over the bridge or sitting on the side of the bridge with "Zelda" leaning on Link, or fishing over the bridge, or a combination of all 3. Even the ending could have a cliffhanger with flying monsters shown to be swooping in, so we have an idea of what could happen in the next part. (Whatever you decide happens, please actually make it, otherwise this story is unfinished.)

Mipha: *Dying inside while she helps Zelda get ready for a date with her crush.*

Most people would leave after getting the door slammed in their faces. Link is not most people. Be like Link.

Are we all just going to ignore the fact that Link's fiance is helping Zelda steal her fiance?
