Breath of the Wild: Rage Die Repeat - For one unusually self-aware Bokoblin, the land of Hyrule can be a bit like Groundhog Day, especially with that murderous chad Link around. Will our squishy little friend find peace or is he trapped in a never-ending cycle where every day is the same? We swear it’s not about lockdown.

Don’t forget that almost, if not EVERY enemy, is stuck in that same death loop. Every time you see a Lynel, he remembers every single time that you’ve shot him with an Ancient Arrow instead of fighting him like a real Hylian.

But, is it actually a time loop? Link does something different every time. I'm pretty sure it's just that he remembers everything on a respawn, not that it's a time loop. Although he apparently doesn't think so, otherwise he'd be happy he returned and could spend more time with his family. Not like Link killed his family, that'd be worthy of a big No.

Here's the thing - that Bokoblin's spouse and children are effectively immortal too and will also be revived every time that blood moon hits with all their memories. Even if they don't avoid Link, they actually have eternity together if they can figure out a system for finding each other.

Technically not. The timeline is still where it is. His kids are out there and the Lizalfos is too. It's a resurrection, not a time loop, but somehow he remembers his past life each time.

Exactly, and it wasn't ripped away from him since he did die of old age and lived his life to the end. The only thing that was ripped away from him was his death. The end. The afterlife. Tbh this is an intresting take since in game it's not a time loop it's just a resurrection system. Meaning technically he's immortal and can still go see his family as they too will also continuously resurrect probably. Of course this animation is treating it differently but I'd like he eventually wanders off again trying to find ways to die only to meet her again and her remembering him think it had all been a dream and they forge an immortal relationship together.

So pretty much immortality, you can live a long life doing what ever you want, you die, come back at a young age again, it’s not like it turns back time, time is still moving foreword, I would absolutely love it, if you die you come back in a few days like nothing ever happened it’s not like everyone forgets you ether, heck the guy still has his kids

Technically he could go back to his hut and meet his family again since the blood moon only respawns them and doesn't send them back in time. It was wholesome and I want to see that lizalfo and bokoblin together again.
