5 YEARS!!! WHAT!?!? Insane to think it’s been that long since this trailer dropped!!! As always huge shout out to all y’all who have watched this and to all the new folks that happen upon it!!! Y’all are the best ❤️
I rewatch this trailer and some reactions every few months to spark my inspiration and to coax out some more raw emotions. Nothing gets me pumped and feeling childlike wonder like this trailer.
2023 here…. Born too late to explore the earth, born too early to explore space, but born just in time to meet Breath of the Wild What a time to be alive.
All true Zelda fans cried after and during this. It was the long-awaited Zelda we’ve been waiting for. And epic trailer for an even more epic adventure and experience. This game unites people of all walks of life. People who probably would not look at each other twice on the street. That is the true magic of video games.
it was like we were finally getting the successor to ocarina that we always wanted, it was a lot of years of pent up emotions coming out lol. And nintendo knew exactly what they were doing with this trailer lmao they knew it would us old zelda fans break down 🤣
1. This was such an awesome reaction, I can tell you're a massive zelda fan (partially because of the vid and also because of your pfp, lol) 2. You look so wholesome dude, I'm really glad your wish came true of it coming out on the 3rd 3. It's sad that we got no news on BotW 2 since 2019 :( 4. So what did you think of BotW after playing it?
Holy shit!!! Thank you guys soooo much!!! I wasn't expecting this video to break 500 views!!! Sorry for the out of sync portion towards the end, premiere elements hates .mov files apparently.
I've watched so many reactions to this trailer just as an excuse to rewatch it a bunch of times, but this one has got to be the most pure and genuine one. I'm loving all this hype, hopefully the game lives up to it!
Sony: let's make the same system from before, but more powerful Microsoft: what he said Nintendo: let's make the very first directional pad to control your character, the very first 3D video game system, the very first motion control based controller, the very first multi screen console, and the very first handheld portable home console hybrid... Non-Nintendo players: I don't like Nintendo because they don't have very many games on their console
Very close to 15,000 now. Your reaction was basically the same as mine the only difference is I wasn't a grown man on the verge of tears.. I was a grown man trying to see through my tears about 1/3 of the way into the trailer xD Continued to cry a good bit after the trailer too lol. Felt no shame though because it was nothing but pure joy in that moment. Pure joy that this game looks soo amazing AND I get to play it in under 2 months... not to mention February being the shortest month in the year :D
I had the same reaction my dude :) cried like a baby. Even watching the trailer now over a month past release and 100%-ing the game, I still get choked up.
@ShaniAce - I'm NOT saying you're hating, but I'll just re-post something I put on reddit about this: So much hate for the English dub, despite it being a 3 second clip, devoid of context and sandwiched between action packed scenes in an epic trailer. It could turn out to pretty realistic in the scene itself depending on the circumstances and the script. Especially when you consider the character herself is portrayed as a somewhat dignified member of royalty. 'No emotion'... What if Zelda is a character who doesn't show much emotion? Why does everything have to convey maximum levels of emotion at 11/10 volume? There's so many things at play here. Seriously, people extrapolate from almost non existent information. Also, I'm sure each dub for this scene will be fitting with the perceived personality from each throughout the game, which different dialects tend to inherently alter for different audiences. A wail will probably seem fitting from a character with the expressive and urgent vocalizations of Japanese (especially considering the uber drama in animé voice acting many have come to expect and love), while a defeated, vulnerable sob will probably fit well with a character with the more measured and 'dignified' vocals of southern English, character depending of course. TL:DR - This is a 3 second clip devoid of context so the hate for certain dubs seems premature. The dubs for this scene will all probably fit well given the dialects used for the rest of the game.
Bro!!! Your reaction was tremendous!! Nothing but pure, unadulterated love and Zelda joy! I'm 34 and have not been this excited and overawed by a game since Ocarina of Time was released when I was 16. Subscribed! Brilliant :)
Love the reaction , I was exactly the same when we got a peek at the sequel to botw ... Here's hoping for an even better experience when it comes out 🥰
Hahaha as hilarious as this is to watch my reaction was exactly the same man, just way more tired considering I had to stay up until 5am for this to finally show!!! 21 on the 21st of March and I was in tears too
I was going to click the like button, but I had already clicked it three years ago, so I used a different Google account to click the like button again.
Great reaction, man. I was laughing when you said right away, "I'm gonna fucking cry." Having seen the trailer probably 50 times, I was thinking, "hell yeah you're gonna fucking cry. FUCKING HARD."
Hey Tyler you should watch the Japanese trailer you will tear up even more. Especially when she Zelda cries into links arms! I hope the American version has option for original voices
this reaction was to the japanese one, i recorded this as i watched the stream its just when it came time to edit it was easier to use just the trailer, laziness on my part lol
yeah you should have put the japanese version in your video too, so reactions to your video would be in sync with your reaction (to the japanese version), my first guess is that you had that reaction for the english version
IronicRobot it's the video my editing software decided it didn't want to support the file and 3 hours of troubleshooting later this is the best I could get it
lol, I'm just saying dude. You've got the facial hair and you look pretty similar, put a little gel in your hair and slick it back and damn son, your cosplay is like 90% done. ;)
Randomosity get where you are coming from but so little of the voice work has been shown that I think it's a little to early to say it's completely bad but for that one scene the Japanese was way more emotional
Tyler Townsend I hope they don't tone down the emotion they show in the English version. It sounds stupid, but they do tend to make American characters in a more stoic and tough way. They even give Kirby an angry face for the American versions. That one scene in the Japanese trailer where Zelda breaks down hit me so hard, but the American version, she was only choked up a bit. Your right, I can't judge it yet. Also, did you notice that the Deku tree is right in front of the master sword. It talks to him half way through the trailer.
I totally agree. Zelda's scream in the japanese trailer works so perfectly with the footage and the music, and the English... doesn't. Granted, it's not terrible, I just wish they would've done better for the first use of voice over in a Zelda game. Who knows though, maybe it'll be just as good.
