Thank you so much for this free tip about breathing exercise. I'm a Filipino student btw and living here in The Philippines. Stuttering is my greatest enemy, I think I can do a lot more if I can speak fluently and confidently. It's really hard for me to imagine the countless opportunities that I have to let go because of stuttering. What actually happens to me is that I'm having hard time to initiate a conversation, it feels like the first syllable is stuck in my throat. Whenever that happens, I tend to just not pursue to speak because I'll surely end up to speak fast and mumble/stutter if I forced my self to speak if I fell that sensation of word stuck in my throat. I'm an aspiring teacher and it scares me about the fact that this stuttering will hinder to be my dream person. I really wanted to get rid of this stuttering that I've been working on alone for few years already. Hoping for better results, I'll give you an update.

Do you think that a stuttering person who is born could have a fear or trauma causing them to stutter no for those no one know the root cause . But For people who begin stuttering after birth, any method of instruction or strategy may be helpful.
@bellatube6486 Interesting question. People have been trying for years to discover where stuttering originates from. There are several theories but none proven. What happens when stuttering is that the diaphragm muscle doesn't move up fluently, therefore not producing a fluent airflow and therefore the sentence doesn't come out fluently. No matter how and when you started stuttering, it is able to control the diaphragm and therefore teaching to to move fluently constantly (muscle memory). By speaking fluent everywhere, you also get rid of the psychological consequences.
@@DelFerroMethod thank you for your detailed response. Some of them they have good and bad days, but they can't pinpoint what exactly makes it happen and they don’t know what those days are they are random. They also stutter less when they around people they know and a lot when they are at work, so do you still think for those therapy or other methods can help their stuttering this is my personal opinion
@@bellatube6486 stuttering fluctuates and differs per person. Most people who stutter, stutter less with family and friends and more with strangers. If you stutter more with certain people or situations or letters/ words, you develop a fear of speaking there. For example: you stutter more with strangers and you need to introduce yourself. You can not use tricks/ synonyms for your name. So you stutter on your name. That causes a fear of speaking for introducing yourself. With the Del Ferro Method you can speak fluent in any situation. If you introduce yourself X amount of times fluently, you book success. Success makes the confidence grow and diminishes insecurities until all fears of speaking have disappeared.
