So I knew the result before I watched this. Knew it was a replay. But still can not explain why my heart was in my mouth for the whole race. I can not even imagine what it must have been like to be there and witness in person

And we keep getting told that you need a dry, dusty track for good races. Here's literal proof that a fast, moist track can provide some of the best racing on the planet, and no dust!

@@timjohnun4297look at Lincoln speedway in PA. A lot of times they get the track prep right. Tacky and fast but racey and always exciting

I’m only an occasional sprint car fan but holy hell, what a bloody fantastic race! Not very often you see an A Main go flag to flag. This will go down as one of the best ever for sure. I can’t even remember a WoO race this good.

Don't know where the "NQ" part comes from? NQ means North Queensland. The Gold Coast is as far from the North as you can get in Queensland!!!

It’s where the car is registered. If you want 7 but it’s taken you register your car elsewhere

Well done Lachy and deserved given the track. Hopefully next year we’ll get a good race when the track is slow as this race was rubbish….. no cushion no slide jobs no cautions….. Boring!

Nar pal I’m serious. Totally get the situation but when you’re lapping the back of the field in 4 laps there’s something wrong. No one wants to see a dust bowl but this race was boring….. Locked down racing is just shithouse!. Look at how many car were pulling monos🤷‍♂️ like I said a deserving champ but the race was Shit!!!’
