I gotta say, the kitchen was a let down. For that beautiful home.....I was expecting something really spectacular ! Beautiful fireplace and I loved the porches !
I agree with you, @Annette Collins. I was expecting something a little different for the kitchen. Hopefully, it can be customized. It has potential and I can definitely change a lot
Love that this is a huge home w/a small kitchen - I hate kitchens. I'm not a rustic or log cabin fan in general, but that mantle was something special for sure.
The outside is magnificent but the inside was not what I expected, although the living room windows were beautiful. Thank you for your hard work. Be safe and be blessed
Chance, I loved this home. It is beautiful and I love all the wood. What I feel falls short is the staging. I just felt their choices were not appropriate. It detracts from this gorgeous home. Sorry, Chance. I know I have never given you a negative, but this is it. Your choice of home was perfect.
I just wanted to take the time to say thanks to Chance for providing so much information on the builder. Just going that extra mile for us! I always enjoy these videos.
Hey Chance! Good video, but as is, this one is Not for us. I like the Living Room and the Kitchen. Love the gas fireplace! And that island in the kitchen is the right size, and it has wheels on it - big plus!! There is a pantry, even if it is kinda small. And I Love the Porches!! But there's nothing else in that house I really liked. I mean the floorplan, of course. The wood was great! Guess it's a good thing they say you can more or less make your own floorplans for it. They just provide guidelines I think, and give you different options and plans. I think that's what you said anyway. That's the way we'd need to go - with someone who has different floorplans and will let you more or less design your own house - within reason, of course. Anyway Chance, good video, and thanks for showing this place and giving me ideas! Now if I can just put all my ideas into one house, I'd have my perfect house!! God bless y'all.
The pine floors were great, the kitchen was not what I thought it would be, but the fireplace and mantel were awesome, the windows were great and you are quite good at showing homes!
Where to begin. I love the fireplace and beams. I agree, I love the front porch, but having a back porch is almost a must! I love how they show so many lighting options. I'm sure you could have an island put in, instead of a rolling cart. It is a very unique home! Very nice! Jill Gross
When I saw this home I suddenly thought about Dorothy's home being caught up and landing, in tact in another place - and if I had her ruby slippers I would click them together and pray for that house to land here, in Washington state...lol. All that to say it's a home I would love to call my own. ❤️
Thanks Chance for spoiling me with the tour, especially with the fireplace, pantry and the vaulted ceilings, that living would look great decorated, especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas, put a 6 foot or bigger Christmas tree 🌲 where the window is, then have 2 small trees🎄 with 2 Nutcrackers on each side of the fireplace and garland with candles on the mantel, and have a built in fireplace outside on the deck for a bonfire 🔥 during the summer months.
Thanks Chance. Spectacular vacation home! I'm happy to see that it has a foyer in the back because that would be the front if you had a beautiful lake or mountain view and wanted the great room to face the view. All the wood is lovely! That said, they fell really short on the master bath. That shower is pitiful for that home. Great tour!
Four score and 7 nights ago, I hoped that you would tour a log cabin, and you did! Who wouldn't want to live there? That home had a pantry, but there was no dance. Strange.
What happened to the 2 and half ba ? I saw 1 and a half. Didnt see 2 and a have Its beautiful. Love the living room. Kitchen id have to improve. Pantry would have to be larger. Oh well...it was lovely. Love the curb appeal...the exterior and love the fireplace. The would floors were beautiful.
Everything on the outside is stunning. I was expecting the same on the inside, but it fell short. The windows in living room are gorgeous. I love all the light. But other than that,I just wasn't impressed. The other log home you showed previously was a stunner.
Fell short for you huh? lol It takes a lot to impress you hon…no offense. Do you think maybe it was because they had the bedrooms set up as offices??? Or the shower wasn’t impressive enough? Other than that it was amazing for me. But I guess to each their own.
Same here. The woods used inside don't match, cheap countertops, the upstairs bath looks like something from the 70's, and the kitchen was dated and underwhelming. I don't know about living with all that wood 24/7, year after year. At least there was some wallboard in every room where you could change colors. Stunning from the outside, big disappointment on the inside.
Seems outdated Those large jet tubs are an eyesore and just too much. Outside deck needs maintenance and the landscape needs trimming. Did I mention kitchen?!? Way too dark, way too small and eww, no! But hey, there’s no one like Chance!! You bring amazing joy to every home!!! Keep up the good work, you’re appreciated!!!🙏🏼
@@amietiger8464 No it doesn't take alot to impress me. I'm saying basically that I thought the inside would look alot better than it did considering how gorgeous the outside looked. And you're right..too each his own. It's not like either of us is buying it. It would be a pretty boring world if we all liked the same thing.
Very very nice log home! I love it, and I don't need the mountains either. Give me land in the country and I'd be happy as happy can be! Thanks for the tour Chance!
I agree with most of the comments. The interior was blah. I liked the front door, mantle and living room but it even needed a more impressive chandelier. It seems like you rushed through this one and missed a lot or maybe there wasn’t anything to miss lol! Anyway, I enjoyed your tour.
Hey Chance, I have been watching your channel for a while now I love most of them. (Log Cabin is my ultimate DREAM HOME.) I like this one it's great, but a TRUE LOG CABIN (I believe) is all wood (NO STUCCO). IF you show me some of those in a home (modular, mobile, etc.) I would really Love it. Keep up the good work. Don't Stop that pantry dance....that what made me subscribe (it was different, funny). Hi Cullen, keep being Daddy's big helper, Love you all too. Thanks, PJ (Paula Jean)
Hey chance This whas a amazing showing the outside is beautyfull I like the inside but onley when it its Paint White I love the fireplace in the living room i would love to have a kitchen island the bedrooms are a great size and bedrooms to thank you for showing us this amazing home chance Stay safe and God bless Anja
I would love to see a catalog. Is the fireplace a wood burning or gas fireplace? Level of insulation? Are the windows heat blocking? I also wonder about earthquake safety since I live in an earthquake zone. I live the office. I am a weaver and that would be a good workshop.
Very cool home thanks for the tour. 10 years ago I had a cedar log home at a lake for 14 years. I was wondering what kind of coating or sealing they had on the exterior of the logs. Mine was some sort of natural oils and it was kind of a pain to take care of.
