It is certainly up there! You should make a trip this Autumn. I haven't been in quite a while and have been thinking about going for a few days and do a self-guided retreat.
@@ChristopherGunn yes! Especially having so much family there. As a kid, I could not wait to 'escape' the small town. Now as an adult I realize just how Blessed I am to have those memories.

My late father was a seminarian novitiate at St Meinrad during the late 30s and early 40s. A blessed place and one that was near and dear to his heart. "Many are called, but few are chosen."
Does anybody have views/footage of the stairs as you're walking around on the sidewalks? That would be nice. Such a beautiful place. Wanna go back soon.
