Oh I certainly did, it's excellent so well edited must have taken you ages but you can clearly see a lot of love has gone into this compilation. Thanks again for making me smile.
@@mikehudson8884 Wow, thank you, that's so nice! Yes, it does take time to make those videos, so it's always cool to know that the work is appreciated :) Thanks again!
@@DarlingLaure It surely is Laure. I do know what goes into making the videos. You've got it down to a fine art. Apart from the content I couldn't help finding myself looking at the production.
LOVEEEEEEEEEIT!!!!!!! i still watch this show to this very day, and even though she is my polar opposite personality wise, she is my absolute FAVORITE character on the show and even top 5 of all time. She simply the closest thing to perfection there could be, haha, guess thats why shes not real. Anyway, thanks for this, i liked and added to my favorites, love scene selection and the the Tom Jones soundtrack!
Most welcome!Netflix and Hulu are always suggesting shows "similiar" to DH and i watch them hoping they could come close, but they all seem so generic in comparison. I truly believe the writing and casting was something that will only come along once in a lifetime. Im like a child when it comes to DH because i can watch the same episodes over and over. Even though so much is fake and fantasy there were so many relatable moments and storylines in the show. And the narration was key too, her voice is so soothing and comforting.
Lynette was probably my second favorite next to Bree, and as much as i dislike Gabby for her selfishness, she made me laugh all the time. Are there women really like HER ? geez. lol
The tone of the show was so unique; it's such a brilliant mix of incompatible things: the "current 50's" look, campy silliness with true emotion, tongue-in-cheek humour in dramatic situations... I can't really name a favorite housewife because they all represent a side of us; you can recognize yourself in each one of them at some point in your life (in a less over-the-top way, that is - and thank God, I might ad! :D) When I watch a show, I often feel closer to one or two characters in particular. In DH, I loved them all - that being said, being a big fan of Nicollette, Edie has a special place in my heart :) Too bad they got rid of her.
Cheers!you put it beautifully! very well said and i agree, because every situation in different episodes with different cast members i did find myself relating to them within the numerous facets of my own life and personality. And I was just watching the episode where Edie passed yesterday and I always think what a shame it was they had all those issues because Edie gave the show a spunky, strong and forthcoming vibe, plus, I always marveled at her beauty! I also didnt like that they ended the great romance of Susan and Mike , that was heartbreaking and added another aire of nostalgia when I watch later seasons. Did you enjoy the addition of Vanessa Williams?
