Awesome high energy song ! Prefect timing.... close your eyes an listen is like playing the track on the radio..🤟👍 thanks! Coffee & this video... ready to get the work day started! Heck yeah ...
I love that!!! One of the reasons I made these vids. Wanted to make them as accurate as possible for people like yourself to learn! Good luck the rest of the way!
@@ConnerFoxx I'm just tired of seeing people doing drum "covers" where what we hear is the drums from the actual record and not the person in the video playing. Sure it makes you look and sound legit. Most people can't tell the difference. It's just lame. I'd rather hear him trying to play it.
@@MdhLV To be honest though, I think he’s just playing really close to the original with a similar drum sound here. His technique looks really solid and his snare is at least the same volume if not louder than the original. I don’t think the original track is covering anything up here, I think he’s just really tight. He plays the tom fills differently from the record too and you can hear it quite well
@@ConnerFoxx Yeah man. I went back and listened to it again with headphones. You're right. The first tom fill is different that the record and a few other things he did were slightly different. Insert foot in mouth. He did an outstanding job replicating Grohls technique and sound. Any good drummer knows how difficult (nearly impossible) that is to do. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. I went and deleted my....attempt at a cover. We see so many of these "covers" where they cheat by EQ'ing themselves nearly out of the mix and try and pass it off as themselves playing. It's frustrating. I can't stand hearing all these songs with programmed drums nowadays too. Anyways. Thanks for calling me out. Also...nice job on that Paramore cover you did. Sounded great man! Keep it up.
@@MdhLV Oh ha well now I kinda feel bad, wasn’t saying you should delete your video! I also do get what you mean about being tired of the covers that just mix their own drums super low under the original track and “fake it”, I get tired of that too. I was watching a cover of “Day After Day” by Badfinger just the other day, and the guy wasn’t even playing the same fills from the record, just kinda miming along hitting whichever drums he felt like. But of course, all you can HEAR is 90% the sound of the original drums, so it seems fine if you aren’t paying close attention. Really annoying for sure. The guy in this Breed video is just one of those people that actually kinda nails it, which is rare lol. Easy to miss, I’d say. Ive also only recently discovered you can fully remove the drums from /any song/ with this audio app, at least well enough for drum covers, so now I’m planning on doing more drum covers of songs I previously thought couldn’t have a drumless backing track. If you watch my older drum covers you can hear my snare hits flamming alongside the originals slightly and Id definitely prefer that not happen, haha
