Mongolian Groom was racing for the 11th time this year. That horse was simply raced to death. An average horse does not race that many times in 1 year. It’s a shame that greedy owners have ruined a good sport.

slaneysiderider. I agree, as a Brit I see U S jockeys as been by far the worlds best. An owner/trainer needs a jockey who knows the track well, so for me that would always mean an American jockey.

There are probably many horse lovers or animal lovers in general here who don't know that a lot of cruelty takes place on the track and behind the scenes. Around 4000 horses are killed in this sport annually. Most get sold to slaughter houses after any kind of an injury. Others just stroke out in training or during a race. You're actively engaging in animal abuse if you watch this garbage. Go watch a video on how their slaughtered.
