Doing well mate ,why do ring companies do light coloured rings knowing birds probably throw young out of nest

I'm up north shane and have seen two goldfinch nests abandoned mate due to weather. One in an elder other in a black berry. Both nests finished packed with the white lining. But nothing there. It's hammered it down here past few weeks. We've got some rain tomorrow early morning 4 till 2 in the afternoon. Back to our birds, I've done fine this season in doors.Bull finches , canaries, goldfinches all 100%
