I use larger opening in my nest boxes. I also fill the nest with straw, I do not put any other nesting material in the cage. I know when they're getting ready to lay as they make a concave in the straw. I get eggs and chicks every time. The longest I wait for eggs is two weeks. It works every time!

Great videos bro 😊, So i have a problem i have 10 pairs of zebras for 3 years and no babies are bred and i found out that its a cause of mice they kept destroying the eggs and the tiny babies. And im sad 😔 cause its a disaster.
hey everyone I just bought recently a pair of zebras and as told Ipput a nest and some materials on it to be more specific cotton and some dry grass .My question Is will they breedat this season they are almost nonstop staying on the nest and will sleep together andeverything I am feedng them some seed mix anddialy puting boiled eggs andcocumbers sometimes spinach etc ,the room temperature is good Ilive on europe ballkan KOSOVO ,.I LOVE YOUR VIdEOS BY THE WAY ,.If anyone can help me or anythig like thet feel free .love

@@venissahiti2840 you're welcome, I'm sure Chris will have plenty of good advice too. If the conditions are right for them they are free breeders meaning they won't have a set season in captivity, if it's warm enough and they have enough food supplies etc then they will undoubtedly try, just offer plenty of extra calcium sources/supplements for the hens egg production 👍
