Well I’m absolutely shattered after that walk brother 🤣🤣 looks amazing and we loved the end prize, the spring. Love your dog mate, you’re right, exactly like mine but looks more muscular. Great name too. Brilliant video buddy 👍🏻
Thank you so much! Pablo is a cool little dog.. I just took his Nan in and she might end up in a future video at some point, really appreciate you watching 👌🍺
@@WaysideWade thank you Wade! Much appreciated, im happy with it so far.. I usually use my phone and it makes the editing process simple because It just appears into my icloud on the ipad but the gopro is an additional step, hopefully its worth the extra work
That's really cool and interesting vidz my friend. Keep it up and more vidz to come. I really enjoyed your video. Such a awesome one. Stay Safe Always and more blessings to you with your family my friend. Have a wonderful day ahead.
Smashing video captain Badger, baby Badge, Pablo, really enjoyed joining you on this one, catch you again soon! Love and hugs, Ceri and Kat ☕️ ❤️ 👍 😀 💖
Good morning badger and little badger n Pablo. What a lovely walk out this was. Thanks for taking us along. Great area info. Really enjoyed this. You can't beat a river walk. Take care all 💗🥾
Hey Emz! Thank you, was a real nice little walk and not a million miles from the doorstep, no car involved.. although I did ring Lucie to come and pick us up from the church when we were done 🤣🤣🤣
Never been walking in this neck of the woods. It looked a great peaceful walk out. The church explore looked pretty cool. I'm still on an old GoPro but the footage is great 👍
Hi guys! Pretty to see the river from the path and from the air! Fun to see a bird flying with the drone. 👌 Enjoyed seeing the fresh spring and the church… your new GoPro seems great to me…( I have a Hero 8 that I basically set and go, I’m not that quick at adjusting the settings while out hiking.) 👍Like for Pablo 👍 for Josh!! 😄🎈🎈🎈
Hi Jennifer thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment, I am really happy with the gopro so far but not had the chance to use it as much as I would like due to work commitments
Thank you so much! Yes the weather was perfect, warm but overcast and very slight drizzle from time to time, it was a real nice little walk for a local one 👏😎
Broom stick Badger, leave no trace! Couldn't agree more, it's a shame personal details aren't printed on shop bought items , discourage people throwing things away! GDPR ftw 🙌
Haha nobody likes an overgrown bush🤷♂️🤣 Some of the smaller churches can be overgrown or left to it’s own devices but this was really well taken care of👌
@@BulldogBadger is love a good Yew tree too, always nice to spot and compare. Often the church's built around the yews, rather than yews planted for the churches 🌳
@@TeaInValhalla I suck at tree recognition🤣 Although I am in the process of learning, after my walk up Hergest ridge I can now identify a box monkey puzzle tree 😎👏
Sweet hike damian, a beautiful area to go for a walk. Bet that water was spot on out of the camp n wild dragon mug lol. Thanks for the shout out bud. Josh is a good kid. Look forward to meeting him again and spot on drone footage. Thanks for sharing your little adventure guys
Thanks Dai! Spotted a few places there to throw a bivvy up for a camp, was a nice little walk with Josh and Pablo, was nice to dust the cobwebs off the drone 👏🤣
Pablo is awesome! How adorable x lovely walk along the Wye, I haven’t done much walking Hereward Way … go pro 10 takes a nice crisp shot! X well done for getting the westie home x
Thank you so much for joining the premier, it seems that 3pm on a Sunday is not a good time lol, but really appreciate you dropping in and taking the time to comment 👍
Love the river Wye,love to take my kayak there, love pablo 🐕and baby badger 🦡.Shame about the trains stoping in 79,same for here sadly.Gopro meant be good,Think metalman had this cool battery charger thingy.operation westie!,Kayaks, well canoe lol.Its bloody lovely there"kayak heaven 🛶".Lovely drone shots@music"thought i saw a seagull"300 camp spots is so cool ⛺.Wrong turn=debs dory"My sister has a chihuahua spring power!"rodneys and ol del boy=your all start talking cockney now 😀.OH YEAH! love his channel,Dont get me going about litter muppets!! well done badger,i always take loads rubbish back.LEAVE NO TRACE,im national trust, english heratige, and countryside trust cost me £30 a year, but they do all paths in my area repairs ect.. Love old churchs and that church is sublime, and they groundkeeper should get a medal 🥇.The one were my granddaughter is buried is a muppet and im always tyding up.Yes your same as me badger,i spent ages looking at all the graves at the somme france.Such a lovely church12 th century.Loved this badger more please debs xx 🦡 🦡 🐕 💎 🤗 ⚽
Oh wow!! What an amazing comment Debs, thank you so much👏 yes it was definitely Kayak heaven there! When I was in France I went to piere la chaise cemetery and went to see Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde, and Chopin.. that was an amazing place I could probably have made 10 videos there it was so big
A lovely pleasant stroll amongst nice surroundings. Great quality 4K footage which stands out despite the YT compression. I am still using GP8 and find the battery takes a hammering especially when connected to Quik app. It also shows around 38% level then the camera stops due to dead battery. Leep us updated to your findings over the coming months. I bet that water tasted good 👍🏻. All the best mate
Hi Nigel thank you mate! I always use my iphone for filming so was lazy and left the gopro at home, I will stick with it and see how it goes but it looked ok on this, will let you know how I get on with it, hope you’re feeling a little better now and taking it steady?
If I was to be picky I flew a little low in the earlier scenes and it wasn’t as bright as it should be but did manage to get a nice view of the river👌 thank you so much for all your amazing kind comments it sounds Cliche but I really do appreciate it 👏👏👏
Life has given me many new friends and relationships but nothing is sweeter than our friendship, my friend! I still feel lucky to be friends with you. Thank you.
Thank you Dave! Really appreciate it! Was a decent walk and so close to home too.. looked great on the drone, I think I will be back there with a tent/bivvy at some point 👍🍺
Beautiful hiking area. Very much similar to where I grew in Massachusetts. Good for you leaving the place better than you found it, we subscribe to that behavior too.
Hey Alan! Thanks for dropping by! I do have an upcoming drone project when I get some time available to shoot it, I think if you like drone footage you will love what I have planned👍
Since you asked, the out of the box settings aren't the optimal settings for a gopro, here's some recommended changes (unless you already made them) : Bit Rate: High. EV Comp: -0.5. White Balance: Auto (or Specific Temp based on Scene) ISO Min: 100. ISO Max: 1600. Sharpness: Low. Color: Natural.
@@BulldogBadger you're welcome, the stabilization of the gopro is awesome. especially for hiking and kayaking content where there would be some bouncing with a regular camera. I'm curious to see how your low level light time-lapses go since the gopro doesn't particularly do well in low light conditions. Good luck.
@@Kayak7seas I will keep you posted, hopefully if I can get a clear night here I can get some kind of results, I’m usually unlucky and go camping when its a lot of low lying cloud and wake up on a hill surrounded by cloud 🤣
Avoid it at night time scared 😱 who votes for Badger to return to test the night lapse from here? Or film the sequel to gone in 60 seconds, gone in 30 blinks! 👀
Hi and thanks, Bulldong Bagdger for sharing. It's such an impressive arched bridge with charm--- 2;02 I like Mirror, Mirror reflection on the dark water as I always enjoy it when kayaking. Yay...lots of kayakers!!! I wish I were there to paddle. Do you know any boat ramp to launch nearby---6;14? The drone footage along the river is breathtaking. I am certain the spring water is a mild taste to it not like tap water. I have never drunk the spring water but seen the "Boiling Water," the resources of spring water. I would love to have you and your little Badger snorkel in that spring water, called "Silver Glen Springs" in FL. Amazing there. Thank you for raising awareness for "Leave No Trace." I always feel the same way about some people's midmeanor/bad behavior. Wow, a charming cozy cemetery right beside the lovely old church. May I ask if the stone chests sitting in the cemetery are once popular compared to just tombstones---17;07? Again, thank you for taking us on this adventure. Kayak7seas and I owned Gopro 10 for a while and he played around with the settings. They worked wonderfully even if overcast or not, especially underwater as well. You have beautiful footage from my perspective. Sorry, we could be at the premiere..a little early in the US, but certainly enjoyed it at breakfast and poked the LIKE button. 🤗🤗🙋♀🙋♀🛶🛶
Thank you so much for the lovely comment!! There is a launch at the rowing club that I walked past, Silver springs in FL sounds great, We have been looking at booking a vacation in Florida.. I also work in Arkansas so no stranger to the USA, I think the stone chests used to be actual burial tombs back in the day, and I have made a mental note for future premiers to be a little later in the day, thanks again for watching and taking the time to leave an amazing comment! 👏👍
GoPro crew high five! 🙏 Picture and sound look decent. I've got the Hero 9 Black, which is doing everything I hoped it would and a little bit more. The stabilisation really transforms the filming of outdoor activities. The Wye is a lovely big river, and a good excuse to get the video toys out and keep your eye in. I hope to see them in action with a bit of "canvas" (nylon) soon! P.S. Pablo looks lethal.
Thank you! I was impressed with the onboard mic as it was pretty windy along the river but it didn’t come across on the footage, and yes a camp will be on the cards very soon I have a few ideas already.. Pablo is an absolute machine 🤣
@@BulldogBadger The foam windslayers are really effective, and cost very little for what they do, so that will definitely help you. I remember reading that using the in-built wind noise cancellation isn't a great idea because it's out of your control and can cut in a bit too much. Hopefully the windslayer will cover you up to some reasonable wind speeds though! 👍
@@joinmeoutdoors I actually had it on, it apparently cuts the mic being affected and ramps up the audio from a mic that isnt facing the wind apparently.. sounded fancy so I left it on.. if it messes up my audio once I will throw it in the river 🤣👏
Enjoyed that mate, lovely hike with your boy, you can’t beat father and son time , really like Hereford I wouldn’t mind a look around the town myself and maybe a pint of the Herefordshire Fire water 🔥 💦 😁👌👍 how are you finding the GoPro 10? I film most of our vids in 1080 60fps, I’ve tried 4K but my laptop is a bit old now and my editing software can’t cope with it too well I think I need a new pc lol, keep the vids coming mate Mark & Simon
Thanks mate much appreciated! I like the hero 10 but it does add an additional step transferring the footage, if I use my phone it automatically shows up on my ipad ready for editing so thats why I kept being lazy and using my phone 🤣
@@BulldogBadger was a joy to watch Badger, maybe food for thought and future videos, we thought the local explore worked a treat 😀 obviously only so much of that anyone can stomach, handy for a rainy day tho! 🤜🤛
So far so good I think, tbh I would like to watch this on the telly later and check the quality, but the audio seemed good it was actually a lot windier than it sounded, the windslayer did a really good job 👌🦡
Love your adventures. Hopefully one of these days you will be able to follow your nose over to my channel and see what type of trouble I have got into. All the best and continue to follow your nose!🍁🦫 #stealthcampingalliance
