Breitling Chronomat (Chronograph or GMT?) 

These look stunning on camera! I've only held 2 Breitlings and both were even more impressive in person. And that's saying a lot because the photos look flawless! Out of these two I would pick the GMT due to case and movement being much thinner. I greatly respect the chronograph, and all the Breitling movements, but as I have found out no matter how much I love the look of a watch, if its too thick its not comfortable to me and therefore I don't wear it.

I also agree, I have no use for the chronograph or a GMT in my life, but prefer thinner cases and uncluttered dials. Also funny you brought up timing grilling meat, because that's what I use my diving watch bezels for 😅

3 hand , no gmt would be perfect

I have the GMT and love it. The bracelet is amazingly comfortable and wears so well. Respect the Chrono, but I prefer the simplicity of the dial on the GMT.

looks nice, not really for my collection, but still a nice watch

I prefer the GMT. So much so that I bought one last Friday. I have an Omega Planet Ocean and Speedmaster Reduced so I was looking for a watch that could be used in a dressier setting. Early days but loving it so far
