Been invited to their opening event of Bremont store in Bluewater tomorrow evening. Love the MB watch, and am a fan of what they're trying to achieve... Just think the depreciation is unreal on their watches. Hoping to catch one of the co-founders there for a quick chat!

Not their full line up no. About half the range I think they said, don’t quote me on that though.

The in-house movement snobbery is quite overrated. If you build a minute repeater based on Valjoux, is that bad? If my reengineered manufacture movement is way better than eta, is that bad? I wanna see what they do with the movement, cases and design rather than just judging from how in-house it is.

Agreed and their plan is to do that. They will start with 5,000 watches next year. They produce around 10,000 watches each year.

To the casual observer Bremonts erstatz military marketing and their slab like dimensions annoy me....I know theres reasons to support them, English and thIs new in house stuff but they're still fekking huge. Alot more than CW for worse looking watches... And they should gave boasted about using Perret stuff, poached some of their heritige, like why the fuck didn't Montblanc revive Minerva?

Amazing episode James very controversial topic “ in house “ movement people all over the world debating about this .as for Bermont its a lot of money 💰 and I mean money value look I really start to like British watches but at level of money 💰 they asking !! Why in hell I pay 18 ,000 £ when I can buy Rolex even from grey market or trusted seller like you !!! You don’t have much eye contact with your audience. Especially noticeable in this one ☝🏻 Is it intentional? Bremont are investing heavily in the UK Have you visited their prestigious new premises yet? Apparently the Latitude watch is too expensive for “WIS” to buy. They believe it’s worth £3000 Not the price Bremont are asking for it.

No the lack of eye contact isn’t intentional 😂 I’m not a professional so it’s a learning curve. No I haven’t seen their premises, I don’t live close. Props to Bremont though for investing and I do think it’s great for British watchmaking. It’s worth more than 3k for sure. For me I would be around 7/8k.
