Oh my gosh guys, so he got a little drunk? He's still a quality player and did not deserve to be treated the way he did after this. It's just how he acts when he's a little over the top. Legend of the game and I want him back at Carlton. Love ya Fev.
I dont go for Carlton, but I fucking love fev, everyone doesn't like him because of the way he acts, his entertaining, he adds that spark into football and people that dont like him are tight asses.
it's kind of sad to see this now considering it pretty much cost him his AFL career. I know he had a season at Brisbane but everyone knew that'd be a short stay as he was going vastly downhill
The footy show obviously wanted to give Fev the arse off the show otherwise why on earth would you give the bloke a microphone clearly knowing he was off his face and would basically be a nightmare to everyone, very poor management on the night and something when they look back on it they will want to do it again properly.
Come on you hard arses...chill out a lil bit on Fevola....he didnt act violently after the drink isnt he?....he was just being a big goof, and dont we all love a big goof at a party, thats what makes it a good party....Good on ya Fev, you had a good time and that was funny as hell!!....
Look, Fev isn't a bad bloke, yeah he done fucked up, he knows that, but he wasn't doing all that to hurt people, he had a few too many and embarrassed himself, but he does a lot of good work too, does a lot of charity work, helps out footy clubs and all sorts of stuff, he is a good bloke that likes to party.
This was around the time that the wokies start to really ramp things up. Poor Fev got tarred and feathered over little more than getting pissed, maybe being a bit inappropriate at times and embarrassing himself a bit but nothing too bad. A disgrace how he was treated.
That is pure funny shit and warrick capper and Brendan fevola are legends to people who have a sense of huma, only boring people who take life to seriously find him bad
The TV show and management etc let him on camera In that state not saying fevola did anything wrong but if anyone should take responsibility the network management are the ones who let him go on with the mic and Aired the show
@adam468350 Because of this incident Crown Casino introduced a new rule on the casino floor. If you're intoxicated you cannot remain on premises. Before Brendan and this drunken rampage you could remain on the floor but weren't able to gamble.
people say that theres nothing wrong with a footy player getting drunk ..but there is. apart of being an AFL means that you have to set a good example for the children whos dream is to be an AFL player
Just saw a shield cricket clip where the batsmen had to pull away because a seagull flew in front of him. Bloke in the comments called him Steven seagull. Immediately thought of this 😂
It's sad what happened to Simmo but it's even sadder what happens to so many footy players and I don't mean only WCE but the game in general. Now, looking at WCE - Cousins, Mainwaring, Fletcher, Kerr etc. the list goes on. These guys have ONE talent only and have developed that ONE talent. Very few develop other talents in their lives. If you look at many school leavers, they've the potential or have several talents whether it's reading, writing, arithmetic and then followed by logic. How many times have we all sat at pubs listening to some old guy (has been?) who maybe has a decent fortune put away but nothing else to talk about except back when... in my time... in the good old days etc. They don't read books, they've no hobbies, no social skills and just drift aimlessly from one divorce to another, one girlfriend to another and in some cases, one drug to another. "Oh yeah, we used to go down to the Paddo" says one, "Remember when we did so and so at the Penthouse" says another , "Benny used to call me Nelson" says another. Can they change a lightbulb, read a book, have any aspect of personality except hang out with one group and then drift on to another group and drift on to another hoping experts will look after their money. Sports figures the world over do little to develop other aspects of their personality, luckily in the US things have changed for a few though - look at Shaq, Jordan etc. But in small town Perth, it's just looking at the past, never completing projects and drifting from one incomplete project to another. HOpefully that'll change and is changing but for others it may be too late.
I promise you, every single person I know who wants to be an AFL player would do the same, it's a trait they've earnt from thier parents and friends, I highly doubt anyone looked at this and though "I'M GOING TO DRINK NOW" and if they did then no doubt they would be sucked into it eventually by thier own naivety. And let's face it, football has always just been another reason to get drunk and scream for your favourite team. Don't nitpick about illogical things, it only makes you look petty.
oh fuck, poor fev.. i heard the interview with eddie on the radio and he had no idea he carried on this way.. he really is embarressed and dissapointed in himself..i hope he gets the help he needs to better himself..
Wow Fev was a mess that night... like some annoying guy at the pub with a belly full of piss that is just a ticking time bomb that you know will be kicked out eventually
Iam a drinker myself an we've all acted like that before, Carlton are going to loose the best player and any chance of the finals now cos of this. Iam from Adelaide an i'll defend Fev a bit here, yeah it was an embarrasement but i dont think it was a discrace. Its just Aussie behaviour really, but maybe one or two beers less next time..
Kids wanna play like fev they don't idolise his drinking geez. I idolised Arnold schwarzenegger the body builder and I don't want to do steroids or become a part of parliament
