How interesting that Funke was an illustrator and Fraser her muse. As an artist I can easily see why she would be inspired by him. Brendan is so incredibly versatile & his films so richly diverse. After hearing Eliza reading from the ending of the book on the dvd l also look forward to hearing the audio book. Not sure how the closing song relates to the story, but it is wonderful message for the young audience & I really enjoyed Eliza's singing. I also love that her middle name is Hope. ( :

i hope so! i have no idea why inkheart didn't make big money, cause i think it's really amazing and people have no reason to dislike it..

wow, did i get that right? eliza bennett was the main figure and the singer in the closing credits? she's amazing, i love her :) and she's beautiful and seems so self-confident, besides all that she's pretty successful with her singing and she was allowed to work as an actress in a big movie production and then as well with brendan fraser, helen mirren, andy serkis and paul bettany! how cool is that? ...i think i'm a little jealous ^^

no, I haven't asked them for Mummy sequel when I interviewed Fraser and company for the Mummy 3 film...but I would say...it's probably highly unlikely...

Hi Manny, I am just curious why the producers of Inkheart did not promote the song "My Declaration" by Eliza Hope Bennett together with the movie. It's a great song, a good actress/singer performing it and great music video - it would've helped promote the movie further and probably would be a radio hit too. Just wondering. Best regards!

Hi, I heard Warner Bros. did promote the song...it's even included in the media kit they gave us...but perhaps there wasn't enough interest from the radio programmers...you know these US deejays...I did like the song though :)
