@@mytv89626Do you have any specifics of what Fraser supposedly did wrong? Because he's one of the few actors I've literally never heard anyone speak ill about. Ever.
How is it? He's had 1 released movie since he "won" the Oscar. A 2 1/2 minute bit part. He's uninsurable for anything but bit parts and voiceovers due to untreated schizophrenia, drinking and cocaine.
@@Teddyx10 There is so much bad CGI in that movie though, not just The Rock...they definitely needed a lot more time...and shouldn't have used that much CGI to begin with.
On VHS tapes on old CRT TVs in 90's and early 20's, Scorpion King didn't look that horrendeous. Now, HD/4K upscaling on 50" TVs, yes CGI looks really PS2 graphics.
@mytv89626 Dwayne Johnson himself has credited and thanked Brendan Frasier for helping him break into Hollywood in the early 2000’s. So, where is the misinformation at here?
@@judgeberry6071 With Johnson. I have no idea why he does that, other than out of pity for Brendan. He probably believes that phony sob story Brendan have to GQ which then went viral on the internet, which is exactly what Brendan's 2 PR firms were paid to do. Stephen Sommers could use the pats on the back that he's given Brendan (and a directing gig).
Man idc good or bad cgi this movie was a million times better than the shit fest of a reboot we got , hell even tomb was elite compared to that … regardless both mummy and mummy returns were pure childhood and wouldn’t change that experience
I wonder what kind of response the first mummy would have gotten if that scene were included, it was two years earlier, but the first one was positively reviewed that could have ruined it
People complaining about MCU’s cgi; this is the reason why it’s not as good as before. The artists are rushed and underpaid since they have so many on their plate with so little time. Don’t blame the artists. Blame Disney bosses.
I don't know if he was this down to earth from the start, it went downhill for him when he rejected Journey to the centre of the earth sequel. And he got too healthy, and couldn't find any good roles. I loved his movies as a kid, was eagerly waiting for the journey sequel but pretty bummed when I saw rock playing it. Well people have to adapt to the age, their bodies, limitations, it's great seeing him again happy.
He was facing serious problems on his marriage & his wife divorced him & took his money. That's why he rejected the sequel. He was too depressed to work.
@@P.Whitestrake He walked out on his wife and kids in 2007 when he brought his underage boy toy back from China. He was off his meds and drinking/ snorting again. The divorce was final in 2008. The boy went missing in the meantime. They never found him. His parents would still like closure Brendan was fired from Journey 2 because he refused to go to rehab, plus the restraining order from Josh Hutcherson's parents. Brendan became uninsurable for anything but bit parts and voiceovers. Aronofsky had to have a completion guarantee for The Whale in order to cast him and he had a watcher for the 6 week shoot. No one else is ever going to trust him with a lead role again.
