That bass alone has a hypnosis to enduce sleep. The vocals sound the deepest reservoirs of agonizing love which never saw fruition. And the fact they slowed the tempo from the original heightens one's awareness of such sensations. What a tune.
przyjechaliśmy do wrocławia z katowic po raz drugi na koncert Brendana i znowu było cudownie... nieziemska muza w tym niezienskim miejscu... dzięki quetan za świetny zapis kiku numerów...
I'm 19 years old and i discover this song because of my mom. At the beginning, she used to get calm while we lived the hardest days of our lives, before my grandpa passed away. Now, i can't let this song anymore, i really love it, it really makes me keep calm
For me Dead can dance's best song (and my goodness there is serious competition for that accolade) . The group stopped playing it live years ago . I presume that Brendan composed it as he plays it now at his solo gigs. I feel fortunate that I saw DCD play this live 3 times back in the 1980's as well as the other great songs such as ocean and indoctrination from the first 3 albums.
@@cyberbloody But maybe not as well as the band's "golden era " it was about playing live instrument back in the 1980's and early 90's. Nowadays it is about keyboards and Synths .
Dit blijft één van de mooiste nummers van DCD, vaak life gezien. Deze versie is ook mooier dan de album versie vanwege het spannende einde dat vragend achterblijft in het origineel..
love this version and have been lucky enough to see DCD play it live (1987) have met Astrid as a fan of her Goya Dress and solo stuff. She is gorgeous and boy does she" look hot " in this clip. Love her vocals at the end.
I was at the DCD gig in Manchester cathedral yesterday and Brendan played this song. A remarkable event but this really was a highlight and Brendan’s voice has, if anything, more texture and depth now than when he first recorded this song! - it was genuinely spine tingling.
they played this again at the apollo in london a fews after, and I have say I completely agree. If the Manchester concert was anything like the one I went to im sure it was amazing.
The beginning starts with a new and mystic opening to this DCD classic, with the female on keyboard then BP owns it completely as all seem to step back as he plays his song at 1:07, oh that guitar...
I love seeing this song live in it's many iterations - classic, timeless & beautiful.. any one know the last verse of lyrics??? I only hear them when I hear this live,
Rewelacja! Byłem we Wrocq, ale niestety nie mogłem dotrzeć - muszę zadowolić się Krakowem - Rotunda w kwietniu zeszłego rocku... Karwasz twarz!!! ;P ''' Pozdro dla fanów!
Yes, this is still "In Power We Entrust The Love Advocated" but these end lyrics never made it on to the "Garden Of Arcane Delights" EP. Dead Can Dance used to play the song live in the latter part of the 1980's with these additional lyrics, so they have been bootlegged many times. The additional lyrics are as follows (according to the website Dead Can Dance Within). However, I don't think it is entirely correct. "And the fire will lead your sails to her And we'll be relished in seas of fire And the time will lead assail to her And we'll be relished in fields of light".
@@qetan Mam soundboard audio od Brendana i całe video. Chciałbym połączyć nasze pliki video jako mix na bazie audio soudboardu. To byłaby super pamiątka dlla fanów i muzyki. Twoje pliki video są bardzo dobre .
