We are ridiculously naive in big games away from home - Etihad, The Bridge and even the Emirates. The defending really is abysmal at times and Mignolet really needs to watch the third goal again because his positioning was shocking. However not many teams will come back from City with anything so in perspective it isn't the worst result ever. Need a far better performance against those North London mugs though next week.

the second lambert came on we looked better, we play better as a 4-4-2 diamond. Here's to hoping we get the 3 pts come sunday.

Sturridge needs a strike partner thank fuck Balotellli can play next game and never play Johnson and Allen.

Allen has his role. He works his ass off and will be a fine rotation player. He should be coming off of the bench in a game like this, but I guess Rodgers doesn't feel Can is ready for this stage.

Why are so many of Brendan Rodgers signings not performing ...Balotelli , Markovic , Louvren , Sakho , Lambert ? Brendan Rodgers has spent 120 pounds on average players ...Louvren ..average..Sakho ...below average ..Joe Allen ....not as good as Lucas ...Emre Can ...what exactly does he do better than Lucas ......Balotelli ......below average ...Mignolet ...suspect. You wanna manage in Spain Brendan ...go now adios Brendan .

It's almost like we're back in 2012 in terms of rodgers applying his philosophy to almost a full new squad of players (9). it's going to take time but as soon as they gel, we'll be title contenders for sure.

I was listening to American commentators on Star Sport. They say that Rodgers will get hurt again if he continues to play in a swashbuckling manner like this. Other top managers seem to know when to think more about result and be more reserved just to get a point. LFC never feared anyone and keep attacking. I really like the way we play but today supporters demand result more than ever. Rodger will be more under pressure if he loses again in this manner.

You're first mistake was listening to AMERICAN commentators, people who think they know about football when theyre just being deluded. We signed 9 PLAYERS this window and lost our star striker. thankfully, we replaced him in balotelli so sturridge can have the striker partner he needs. once we have a proper attk up and running including lallana, coutinho, markovic, sterling, etc plus a little time to have the new players gel then i think we'll hit the ground running. itll be a difficult first few months but after that i think we're going to see massive improvement.
