Legend has it they find nuggets, then re-bury, alert the camera crew, then re-find “on-camera” to make the show… Or did u think the camera crews actually follow them day and night for weeks at a time just WAITING for someone to find SOMETHING…?? Lol
@@gemcollector8508 It does amaze me how much gold is just under the surface, and with a quick dig, a good result most times it seems. here in the Pacific Northwest you have to spend many more minutes in the day to just get specks mostly :)
for people that don't know, there are buyers who want the raw nuggets, in original shape, not the melted down fine gold and nuggets can sell, 25-50% higher then their actual weight in gold.
This was so crazy, they kept finding great nuggets. I felt so bad for the Gypsy crew, who struggle every season! But it was amazing to see they kept finding gold! What a day!!!!
Digs for 45 seconds "that's a lot of work".....gimme a f*cking break kiddo you need to get your stamina up. I would pitch a tent asap and hit that area like a mad dog non-stop til I fell over bros.
It's a television show. They're showing you highlights of long, arduous work. Look at their hair and skin. Most of those guys barely have any teeth. It's not glamorous work. 95% of them wish they were in an office somewhere with airconditioning collecting a paycheck.
Yeah, u can if u come to the gem fields in Queensland but I’ve never been there or done any of this, it’s on my bucket list too, it there are some good finds there so..😅🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
You blokes have it good in Vic, here in tassie it's illegal to sell our gold ,can't even bring it to the mainland to sell !,so soak it up and great wealth to you!!.
Considering how coarse those nuggets were there may well be large chunks of the host reef still in the ground there , but deeper than what the detectors can pick up. 🤔 D-9 Cat time.
How is so much gold just laying on or near the surface in Australia, is it volcanic/meteor explosive activity depositing it all over the place or what?
The alaska crew are going over already mined ground searching for the dust and fragments too small for guys in the 50s and earlier to have been able to find or bother with. They arent pulling nuggets, but by the end of each week they are still walking away a couple hundred ounces of gold.
Looks to be it can't or should be your only income if it's not paying off as expected. It's not a steady income you can count on being there here. But it's something I definitely would be doing if I could .. ..
It has nothing to do with geology. We grow them down here, didnt you know? The secret is in using the right fertilizers, and the right amount of water. Now, for you and you alone, I have a fantastic deal and am willing to reveal the age old secret formula for the fertilizer. At a one time only price. :-) Greeting from Down Under where its beautiful one day and perfect the next.
Finding gold like that somewhere you only have to pay per day, why spend so much money for land that you have to work everyday and not just pay the daily fee to detect the bush area
@@timsanders9139 I know the gold is real,I do bit of part time prospecting but did they all come out of those holes all in that area is doubtful. In Victoria doesn't matter where you go someone has been there before you. That area does not seem to be hard to get to, so surprisingly no one has detected it before.
