Liverpool were stagnant and lazy for large parts of the game, especially that first half. Now the leader of the team says its not their fault, its everything else. Doesn't that give them license to put in another performance like this the next match?? They were not good enough. Let them know. Let the fans know. Could have been 4 or 5. Credit to Brentford, they came for a fight.
It’s so sad to see Jurgen Klopp making poor excuses, blaming the ref or Brentford’s physicality. I thought he was better than that! Take your medicine, give Brentford some credit and move on. Sort out your poor defence which was all over the place, particularly in the first half.
He made 3 changes at half time 😂 Klopps well aware of what the issues were you don't actually take notice of his interviews refs, grass , wind 😂 He tore strips off his team at half time make no mistake.. Clearly he doesn't hammer his players publicly
@@mikedon5205 I take your point reference the 3 subs Mike. Clearly he knew what the issues were I'd expect nothing less from a top class manager. He has to acknowledge that Brentford clearly had done there homework and did a number on Liverpool. I'm pretty sure that had some of those decisions gone for Liverpool he wouldn't have been so vocal about physicality or bad refs decisions. Just a football fan saying!!
@@Viewsonic61 I take your point about acknowledging the opposition but this is the way klopp handles things sometimes I'd prefer myself if he straight up said we were shocking tonight and second best but he always seems to leave that in the dressing room
1. That’s Juergen’s way of not criticizing his players in public or giving the press the opportunity to.. 2. Tactics totally figured out by other teams 3. Players mentally drained physically and tactically 4. We are starting to look like conference league worthy if something doesn’t change…cos the teams that want the top 4 are really showing they want it.. 5.ummmmh what a season, & still yet they don’t wanna sign and let some go..
Klopp's talking about Brentford pushing the limits when his own team are masters of the dark arts. Fabinho commits five professional fouls in every match and is never booked for one.
Remember when Michael Owen said Liverpool were still the undisputed best team in Europe even after losing the champions league final and coming 2nd in the league!!
“Another one bites the dust”. Wow, Brentford are smashing the big boys this season … and with a clean pair of heels in the games. United, City and now Liverpool have all bitten the dust…
Brentford has a very simple but effective game plan: Off ball, stay compact, everyone back, shut the space down. How? Anytime an opponent has the ball, three Brentford players close him down; frontally, left-side and right-side. They do this all the time, and it forces constant turnovers. Then, with the turnover, pass it into the space left by the high line. Seems to work remarkably well for them.
Last game against Leicester was pretty the same. Liverpool was so lucky, Leicester play better football in first half, because of Fuc...defender sabotage Liverpool got the win. Today no more lucky own goals than we see what happens.
Is not just Nunez is it, that's the problem with Liverpool fans it's always a one man team. What's happend to Salah if that's the case he's missed countless goals but nobody points the finger at him how longs he been at the club should be doing alot better sign the contract and fades off. Nunez is a newbie and getting all the slack at least he's trying it's the players that have been there the longest that should be getting the criticism for their poor performances....
lololol...I will be the first to admit Brentford are doing amazingly well and find it ironic that they can have the least possession, the least shots on goal, give away the most corners, etc. but still win a game. I wonder how long Klopp has got, living off past success, or lack of it, going by how much has been spent, before his days are numbered. EVERY Club Klopp has Managed, has gone the same way. Starts off very well and then, after a few years, goes downhill, with Klopp not having a clue how to stop the rot. It is going the same with Liverpool.
i have said it before and i will say agian now klopp do not have a plan B it is shame full to see LFC playing like they are playing in the sunday league
In Klopps early day at Liverpool they used to play fast high pressing football and usually scored a few goals quickly then defend. Now they seem more intent on passing the ball around so much they forget what they are supposed to do with it.
Bringing in the little Brazilian maestro has hindered them by slowing them right down and stripping power from the midfield. Add to that the age of the midfield now, and there is always a danger of being outrun and outmuscled in that area.
@@felroberto Yes, but the truth is that Liverpool haven't been as good after he left - he was HUGE for them because of his attitude as much as his talent.
@@thelimey351 But also Mane has not be good after he left Liverpool. It is very likely that his performance with Liverpool would also be disappointing had he stayed
@@elcapitansenor5380 Agreed, but he seems to have lost control a bit recently. He may get it back but he may not and if not, it could be problematic for the sale of the club.... besides, I only said looking a bit shaky, not he needs to go now
@@paulwood5803 fair enough you got a point mayte 👍 i think all liverpool fans wouldn't want to risk losing him because we lucked out big with klopp lol
Embarrassing-liverpool fan. This loss is on klopp. His team selection was bad. We needs 2 midfielders. I hope this game gives us a reality check. Congratulations brentdord. You deserved to beat us 7-1. We sucked today. Idc if its a foul or not. He has to clear it. Some refs may give it but its terrible defending
I think coaches could never see the game well from the side of the pitch..they should have tv in front of them so that they could see the match better from camera perspective
Blah, blah, blah That's all I hear from Klopp these days. We were this We were that Blah, blah, blah. Just put your hands up and tell the truth. We were garbage today, and our defence is a shambles and should be ashamed of their performance!! The players are letting the club down, so call them out. Stop defending trash performances. Do you think other businesses settle for garbage fro their staff?? Do you go to a restaurant and accept it if the Chef is garbage and your foods bad?? No you don't. You complain and you fix it. Take ownership and be a man!
I have observed that when a person is on the back foot and under pressure and having to speak a foreign language, their ability in that language goes to pieces. I know this for myself, living and working in Spain and France. This interview with J.K. showed that process big-time. He was gabbling even more than usual and not making a lot of sense. It's true that some key players are missing but J.K.has got to get a grip. As things stand, LFC can be beaten by any PL team.
Playing like a championship side no game no plan B manager has no idea supposedly best club in world utter crap if we were we would have been bought by now FSG and KLOPP need to go before it gets worse
Klopp is a chop....making excuses....give Brentford the credit they deserve...VAR also disallowed 2 Brentford goals....when it suits Klopp, the Ref and VAR is either not effective or effective when he wins...put a lid on it Klopp you chop
With every loss and bad performance, Mr. Klopp comes out with fake excuses and ignores the obvious facts for every follower of this club. The club needs to sign two midfielders and a player in the defensive line. Farewell to the Champions League this year and next year.
You can’t play Elliott and Salah on the same side of the field, every time they get the ball they turn back and try and get the ball on to their left foot and the move stops.
Horribly dry pitch. Or maybe a bit too wet. And the cold air made the ball move a slower. Completely hopeless conditions. Oh, and all Brentford goals should have been cleared by VAR.
Newcastle United and Arsenal having been on the upward path. It has taken months and seasons for them to get where they are. You can't be surprised by the way they have played this season. Newcastle United with almost 8 clean sheets and Arsenal with 6 they are bound to be in the Top 4.
Mane where r u when Pool needs u? (Non fan); no1 can deny the (missing) Mane effect is a big factor aswell as tired old legs. They just don't seem the same since his departure. As gd as Nunez, Jota an co r, they kinda fed off Manes gameplay. Pool needs an overhaul upfront an pretty quick cos if struggling this campaign then what about nx campaign when their even older? It's not going to get any better or easier nx Yr. Maybe Gapko can help. Was he playing today? Back to the drawing board Jurgen ,just reinvent u squad cos u hav good players but they need a re-invigoration program to refresh tired legs; don't suppose the World Cup has helped.
They were out of form before the world cup, other clubs sent players to the world cup and are going well Liverpool at the moment are just full of excuses and injury prone players
Since the departure of Sadio Liverpool has been struggling mentally in the Frontline to create chances for goals. Salah is problem of Liverpool in Frontline and he was part of major issue while mane left. He seems to be jealous of Sadio and selfish on ball.
Lol oh love M Owen. What planet he live on ? ALWAYS in the title race, ONE title in 30 years and close twice. M Owen really is a joke of a pundit, love it.
Bindippers losing,I remember when they slated us for losing against brentford at beginning of season, well there you go,they are no walk over believe me,we beat bournmouth we got 7 clear of dippers🤣🤣🖕
Manchester United are a great club. Just a pity they're in Manchester. It must be truly difficult going out every week and giving your all for so many fucking idiots.
Owen knows his stuff. Je reckons Liverpool are out of The Title Race and I will, also, stick my neck out and say Forest are not going to win it, either. Trust Me on this one. I know the game like Michael, clearly, does..
@@chrislaurenceleo Generalization about ex-Liverpool players. Their record isn't any worse than players from other teams. And this is speaking as a supporter of another club.
@@richardredmond1463 so if ex players are usually no good at management in your eyes why would anybody think Robertson would make a good manager? Strange logic!
Liverpool can't compete with Brentford... They have the best team, best manager in the world and they put in the best striker on the market. No matter what it costs, you just do it. "Brentford won't like it, nobody will like it, but you know the answer. 🗣️🗣️ klopp
Beating Brentford is not for everyone. Not for Man United, not for Chelsea, not for Tottenham, not for City and not even for Liverpool but for only one team top of the league.
