I will say with regards to him not coming out sooner, perhaps he wanted to see what was going on, perhaps he wants to make sure he didn't do anything illegal even though he may in his heart believe it, it is possible that some one, in your name or stead did do something questionable or worse? Because if he did do something that he believed was in good faith, then claimed innocence, but was later found to have broken a law, he would be remembered as a liar. All of this said, if it comes out that Favre did any of this, I will have a much different look at him. I don't know how I will feel, but he's one of my all time top fav players, at least he is right now.
