You have any idea how many raw hits Brett Favre took & kept going? Favre played in the era where the Qb wasn't as protected like they are now, there's no way you can say Rodgers is more of a dog than Brett Favre.
@@dooners4274rodgers has been in the league for near 20 years. He’s played in the rough era and against the prime legion of boom, and he’s playing in the soft era that’s now. For me I’m biased bc I’m a packers fan but honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone throw a better ball than Rodgers ever. Say all you want about Brady’s TEAM accomplishments(superbowls), Rodgers is truly the best thrower of the football ever
favre def played in a tougher era and was an ironman; rodgers has more finesse favre had more grit and I think pitting qb's from different era's is a senseless endeavor
I love it when a QB has balls and goes for the win. I can't deal with the Kirk cousins types that are scared to pull the trigger late in a game. Fuck the preservation of stats and fuck the picks imo. Go for the win. The Josh Allen type. Same with favre. He always played to win. 💯👌
@@slacproductions9595 did you watch that??? they killed Favre literally late hit after late hit…. You remember the saints bounty program paying players to injury
Some of ya’ll are too young to remember Favre’s 3 straight MVP’s and back to back Super Bowl appearances and Super Bowl win. Say what you want about the interceptions but what a thrill it was to watch Favre. Both of them only won when they had good defenses. Despite the int’s their team success is about equal. Both are great options but Favre was god in the state of Wisconsin after dragging us out of the dark ages (70’s-80’s)
Honestly they both are their own biggest enemy. Favre stole from charities and should forever be remembered for that first. Rodgers has gone off the deep end with conspiracies and craziness. Both could have been so much better.
Favre was my favorite player when I was growing up… but apparently we’re forgetting the 37,000 clutch moments that Favre choked during. It made him exciting, but it also made him one of the most infuriating quarterbacks to root for in history. Side-by-side, without nostalgia, no sane person would choose Favre over Rogers.
Favre won 3 straight MVPs and went to back to back super bowls (won 1 of them). Didn’t miss a game for 20 years and always had the packers relevant. Rodgers is sick and definitely more gifted thrower tho
He had everything down to a T till the kid said Aaron was not a dawg and this is coming from a Flint native lions fan my whole life Rodgers is that dude just so happen he was in a era with both mannings, Brees, Brady, Big Ben, Philip rivers basically the last era of pocket standing QBs and he’s the last one from that era and still considered one of those dawgs of today
There’s an immeasurable trait that the stat line will never show. That trait is gunslinging. Brett Favre is football’s version of Maverick. He’d make reckless throws into a double coverage, and he’d complete them more times than not with the kind of swagger that said, “nobody should throw this ball ever, but I can because I’m Brett Favre.”
No one is more aggressive than Favre especially the way he fleeced those funds from people who really needed it. Aside from off the field issues the obvious answer is Rodgers. I'd put Favre and Jameis Winston in the same boat. It's either boom or bust. With favre you get either 3tds or 3ints but you can't have both
I give Favre the nod cause he was an "Iron Man" Aaron Rodgers has had a few injuries thats taken him down a few games and a few seasons... Pure qb talent goes to A-Rod. But being on the field is more important
I take Favre 10 outta 10 times on MY team.. He played for the LOVE of the game. Rodgers was like he didnt even wanna be there. He seemed like a janitor wiping floors cuz he HAD too. 😂
Vikings fan who grew up in Wisconsin. Rodgers and its not close. One barely threw picks and the other threw a shit ton. Rodgers in his prime was definetly more elusive then Favre, slipped out of so many sacks. If Nick Collins doesn't break his neck and have to retire I think they repeat in 2011 and maybe even a dynasty he was that good. Defense dropped off dramatically after it and would proceed to shit the bed every year in the playoffs for 5-6 years.
Favre was a better leader. Rodgers is a better QB. Favre is a dog but he’s going to have you fighting until the end when he throws a pick and you lose the game. If Green Bay put better players around Rodgers he should have had at least 2 more Superbowl appearances in his career!!
The best Roger was the one scrambled which won him the superbowel. He stopped later in his career. He isnt as good, but it lengthen his career for sure
Aaron rogers is better cause Aaron don’t turn the ball over like Favre he will definitely throw it to the other team and rogers got a Super Bowl mvp with four regular season mvps and a better QBR so it’s definitely rogers Favre was special but rogers was the most talented QB we ever seen until mahomes came period
Question is who would you take on your team?? It has nothing to do with the type persons they are outside football, it has to do with their football skills. So who would you take Aaron Rodgers or Brett favre? I will take Brett favre over Aaron Rodgers not saying Aaron Rodgers is bad just I will take Brett favre!!!
it’s rodgers. he’s proven himself time and time again. he’s been controversial, said some dumb shit and people haven’t liked him for it. but dude, less int, similar amount of td and probably would be higher if not for missing all last season. if you need one play to win a game, one pass from 30, 40, 50+ yards out, i’m choosing aaron every time
That’s wild to hear Rodgers isn’t a dog. JUCO college to a mid-level school to a late first round pick to a Super Bowl and Multiple MVPs and future HOFer, isn’t a dog? Stop it.
Shows the president for style points the same reason guys like Brady and Purdy fall on draft boards but Trey lance and Zach Wilson will get picked in the first round
