Brett McKay: Mastering the Lost Art of Manliness

Whatever happened to all the real men?
Oh, we see plenty of masculine imagery in movies and TV. Healthy, successful, attractive guys with gorgeous women hanging all over them.
We yearn to be those men - but these images don’t tell us how to become like them. Maybe we try to fake it by buying a nice suit or an expensive car - but deep down, we know we’re just pretending, so nothing really changes.
I used to be a guy like that too - faking my way through life, bored at my job, always in the “friend zone” with the women I wanted… dreaming big and hoping next year would be different but living all too small.
That all changed when I found out where the REAL male mentors are… built strong friendships with them… and let them teach me how to take back my masculine power once and for all.
These powerful men told me things my father never told me… about women, finance, physical health, and how to become the strongest version of myself. And after a decade of intensive mentorship, I now want to pass this knowledge on to you.
It’s time to shatter your chains, and start living the life you know you deserve - as a strong grounded man.
I’m offering my exclusive 90-minute, 30-video training course on becoming a strong, grounded man… absolutely FREE, for a very limited time.

Key Points
1. Focus on Being a Man of Value
We live in a society where everybody wants to be “Somebody.”
Success is the result of doing your work and doing it with excellence. It’s the result of trying to find ways to serve others, instead of constantly serving yourself.
It’s not about you.
It’s about the impact you have on others and the legacy that you leave.
2. The Worst Rarely Happens
Mark Twain is often quoted as saying
I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened.
There is an element of risk in everything worth pursuing. And as a man, you must learn to cull your fear and worries and realize that despite the perceived risk, the big, scary, life-altering disaster of an outcome that you fear is unlikely at the least and downright laughable at most.
3. Toughen Your “Mental Hide”
With the wide reach of the internet, it is all but impossible to do anything of worth without attracting negative criticism and denigration.
You must learn to ignore the haters and stay focused on your dreams and mission.
So build your mental resilience and learn to be ok with the haters.
4. Focus on Adaptability Not Effectiveness
One of the greatest struggles for men of a high caliber is learning to embrace adaptability over effectiveness.
Life happens.
Things don’t always go according to plan.
Learn to be like water.
Flow from one task and “tragedy” to the next without missing a beat and your quality of life will increase ten-fold.
5. Just Do Something
If you are struggling in life right now, if you are on the fence if you have been wanting to get started on a dream for years but you don’t know where to start… start by doing something.
Anything!
But you must start by getting up, lacing your shoes, and taking that first step.

26:27 the issue here is that most of guys can actually say whatever to those ticks because of stoicism. But women will nag for ages about them. So how do you train you spouse to accept it?

You can become an honorable attorney without being a member of the BAR. You can and must be a free franchised common law attorney for the people. The BAR has no honor because it is non American but rather is under the authority of the Queen of England. Yes, this woman is not respectful of our honorable forefathers who fought for our Constitution. Modern BAR only teaches UCC Commercial Equity Law. Equity Law is only for the worship of money. Plea bargaining are the fruits of it. Insurance and bargaining is all based on the lowest risk. The one with the most money wins. This has no honor but the practice of how many ways to skin a cat or even who can lie or stretch the truth. There is a great need for men of honor. A man of honor does not have to wear a patch on his arm or carry a weapon. Honoring the Ten Commandments and being truthful is the modern Samari. It can be successfully legally argued that you do not have to be a member of the BAR to be an attorney. They lied to you. Please, for God's sake, fight for the people! It will cost you, and you will suffer. Much like our forefathers did. God speed

I love this topic. But the last five minutes remind me of a Hollywood ending. I was kind of surprised that the two of you had this as your parting words, that no matter what, it will be all right. That’s not actually true. Even in a western world. I think that’s not what men need to hear. Women need to hear that, they need words to comfort them. Because it is basically telling them that it doesn’t really matter what they do in their life because it will all turn out OK, food stamps and all. I don’t think this is what early Man was thinking. I think his negative bias was correct. It may not turn out OK. And this is what drove him to do everything he did to survive day after day.

It depends on what meaning you give "it will be alright". If it worked to give you the confidence to take actions because even when you meet failures you have the "it will be alright" mentality, then it served its purpose well.
