I lost a career in baseball from a shoulder injury, right before college ball. It's such an encouragement to hear this and to someday sing it to my kids or be able to reflect on my life and show them there is hope for all of us
Wow, what an amazing story, thank you for sharing it. Im sorry you lost your baseball career, I cant imagine having your dream & passion altered that way so suddenly. We had a friend who played for the SF Giants, Noah Lowry who has a similar story. Hes gone on to get married & have a family. God has a different plan for him....and you but no matter what know that there is purpose to what happened, will find those reasons if you havent already. Ive battled MS & 3 brain tumors which is nothing like what youve gone thru however Ive battled finding purpose & reasons behind it all as well but have to trust whatever it is God will reveal it to me at the right time. Thanksfully I have 3 great kids, a loving husband & my oldest found out he h his wife are expecting a baby 1.1.20. Found out Sunday its a boy! Given me excitement & something to lool forward to in the dark times day to day most people domt know I go thru. Sorry to ramble, praying for you. I just wanted to make sure you know youve inspired people, inc me & theres purpose in your pain...Im sure youve already figured that out though❤❤❤
Dylan everything happens for a reason. God's plan may not be clear in the moment but it will be clear one day! I've had two major injuries in my life that changed the course I was on. I'm old 🤣 it ALL has worked out in the end. Don't dwell on the past "injuries" look ahead, he has big plans! Hope all is good Dylan have a great day. Amen 🙏🏻
Dylan Hall dude I feel ya I was a catcher and relief pitcher for my 5A highschool in alabama I was throwing a 93 mph 2 seamer before I got diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis, its been rough I wanna get out and play some more maybe nxt spring
The hardest thing to do it hang up your cleats (this is coming from a softball player for 14 years who had to hang up her cleats 2 years into her college career). You do it for the love of the game but after you have to stop playing the game you still have the love and appreciation for it but you find other things that you love as well. Oftentimes we get so consumed with the game that that is what defines us after I stop playing ball I found a new set of myself I never knew existed because I wasn't always focusing on playing ball. It was my passion and I still love it, but God has an amazing plan for your life!
I'm not a baseball player or anything like that but right now I'm dealing with infertility issues ongoing for the past 3 years and these lyrics really speak to my heart. I had a painful procedure done today and it's just the beginning of fertility treatments but on the drive home I heard this song and was overcome with emotions. I have so much faith I will soon be a mother... I have butterflies just thinking about it. Everything's gonna be alright in the end. "I can hear god laughing guess he must have heard my plans". I just got out of a really bad depression after a relationship that I thought would never end, ended and I had poured everything I had into it so I was just training myself to be strong enough again to handle that situation better so it didn't feel so horrible. Anyways, these last few weeks I have been listening to all of these beautiful country songs and after a few days, I honestly felt so much better and content with my life. I know a lot people talk about country music but it is honestly one of my favorite genres and it really speaks to your soul if you let it. I believe music and real true love heals so I said all of this to say if you're reading this, it's for a reason. You're here for a reason. I'm telling you that because I believe it and I know what it's like to feel hopeless. Let me be a testament that you can still be happy no matter how sad you are. My son passed away this past spring. He was 19. He was killed in a car accident. The week before he died I sent him this song to listen to. The day before he died he told me he had a tattoo drawn up from a phrase in this song. It means so much to me now. I got the tattoo in his honor
