One day when I was driving home from work I passed by my neighbor's house. I felt this feeling to take her a plate of cookies. I drove on home and started dinner and my kids on their homework. I felt again I should take her cookies, so I mixed up some no-bakes and put them in the frig to cool while we ate. After dinner I ran the cookies over and my neighbor answered the door with a smile. Next two years I did this or dinner numerous times. One morning I was getting ready for work and my neighbor knocked on my door and asked if she could talk to me. I said sure and she started to cry and said that everytime I or my kids knocked on her door, she had a bottle of pills poured into her hand to take. She said she was tired of life and just felt like she couldn't go on anymore. She said my cookies and dinners changed her life and she knew she was loved. This woman looked like snow white and always had a smile on her face. I learned that you never know what someone is going through and if you feel you need to help someone just do it.. You will never be sorry.. God Bless.

The love of my life and I met at tough points in our lives and had to make huge changes to our lives to make the relationship happen. This song is the song that reminds me how far we’ve come. “The heart was made to love and let love go” is the line that I always go back to because the 2 of us had doors to close to move into our new life together.
