Ya when the other company took over they forgot about us. I just paid 600 plus shipping on an upper pulley. 600 on left and right pistons. Lol I will thanks man! Good machine to me anyways. At about 1800 hours or so. No major issues. If not completely wrecked the hood can probably be repaired by a good body guy? How bad? Sorry man. Take care
Wow, can't you adjust the hydraulic flow. All that jerking on that machine is hard on stuff. My rayco is silky-smooth on all my movements! And another thing. Why are you constantly shutting your wheel off and on? I never heard you throttle the engine down once. Common knowledge plus it's written in operator's manual to engage and disengage at idle... not wide open! Looks like nice machine. You might wanna keep it that way. Repairs are beyond expensive now days.
I slam through 1 foot down 2000 hours on machine. Original hydrolics and engine. Still powerful. No major repairs. Finish a job done correctly in a hour. I shut it down to walk over to the next stump. I've been doing this 15 years. 100% wide open. Slam through wheel straight on every time. No issues. Have you ever seen the machine jump or head stall with less throttle that kabota is unkillable. Even the deitz I had in rg65 I got 4000 hours out of. If u ask me. I have never broke anything but teeth. Wear and tear maybe. What machine do u drive and do u have a video? So u can teach me? And you don't have to tell me about raycos rape for parts prices. Luckily this machine was built like a rock. It's a fucking stump grinder man. Simple machine. U beat the fuck out of it and finish the stump. Not play patty cake with it? That's what they do. It is possible you're losing production time? I've seen chippers at 100% throttle run 4000 to 5000 hours and still running beat hard with the same engine. Also mass and new Hampshire tons of granite. When you hit ledge it's way more damaging than turning the machine off and on, or forcing thru a stump. Ever seen a grinder jump 3 feet in the air when u hit metal? I have over 5,000 hours running a grinder. 400 500 hours a year for 15 years. Thanks for opinion. Send link to your videos? I could go through slower but it can take it. Rayco back then made a bullet proof machine. Even the older rg 50 and super 50s. The Vermeer 85 and 110 are the balls as well. Send video man! Thanks but youre pretty opinionated man. I can do a 20 big stump job in an hour and a half done roots chased. Foot below grade. I could run it smooth and pretty but it would take forever. Again....it's a freekin stump grinder not an excavator. I'd have 3500 hours on it doing it smooth and slow. Again all I've heard is how I suck. Again show me how to get through a 5 foot pine in 3 to 5 mins? The manual is wrong for production. My car says "while doing the speed limit". It's a waiver so they aren't responsible for how you run it, if you run it "properly" at rayco standards. But u did see I got through a 5 foot pine stump a foot down in 3 to 5 mins? Then finish properly many others after? That was what? How much did I just make? Just saying. Again thanks for trying to degrade me. I thought the video was good as well. I repair the last "stump grinder guys" attempts to do a stump 50 to 100 times per year, usually not even to grade.
Rayco rg 100. 99.9 hp kabota deisel. Beast nothing it cant do. For older model rg super 50 def cool model if u can find one in good shape. Dietz engine. 66 hp deisel. More compact easy to use. 4x4. Difficulty controlling where the chips go. But any grinder can choose to throw whatever. Wherever it wants. Same machine is an rg70. Exactly the same. Just 70 hp. Anything 45 hp deisel or bigger is no joke. Even a 25 hp if u hit a rock just right...it hurts...a lot...lol.
Me too. Lol looking for another. If u pass on one let me know. Or an rg 70. Ya wicked kick ass machine man. U wont be disatisfied. Ive contacted rayco and askd for them to sell me one without a motor. They wont. Lame. Where are u from?
