Yep... Still a fan of Assad's stuff. Love the passion he shows. Love his stuff. It boarders on filthy at points. Stays calm with guys on. Man is just really consistent. You will get at least a win's worth of innings out of him. You will get quality outs from him. I literally cannot think of what more we could ask of him.

Very well played game by the Cubs! Good offense, good defense, no more bullpen meltdown...and we have our IL guys coming back this week... looks very promising!

Man, Morel is becoming a legit monster before our eyes. His patience at the plate has gotten so much better.

Peralta/Milwaukee just unintentionally intentionally walked Morel the whole game. They didn’t give him anything to hit and he took his walks. The one pitch he got to hit he didn’t miss it and scored an extra insurance run.

This might be sacrilege, but I haven't seen shortstop play like Dansby Swanson is giving us since Ozzie Smith.

Add Shota, whos off to a historic start, the good version of taillon and just gotta worry about whos the 5th started. Brown was well really only had 2 bad outings, and they got wesneski i think now in that spot - im digging the results of the starters

The Brewers are bound by a small payroll and can't do as much why they had to trade away their best pitcher in Corbin Burnes couldn't be a fan of the Brewers as they can never reliably field a contender it's impressive they have fielded a contender so long
