Guys I have so missed your intros. You have such great characters and charisma between you all - I love hearing you tease each other with your worst possible! ☺️
Didn't hate the new intros but glad to see you guys back to the way it used to be, just chatting with your friends about what the decks does and "The Worst Possible"
The production quality of the new intros were definitely standout among commander content on youtube. You saw those and thought, "oh yeah these guys know what they're doing." The old intros definitely had more charm. What a sweet and funny group of friends. Certainly accentuated everyone's character more. I really like both and I'm happy to see you guys continue to experiment with the format of the show.
I don't really comment too much, but wanted to let you know that of all the Commander gameplay choices out there, yours is by far my favorite! For my taste, you all have the perfect balance of casual levity and competitiveness that perfectly encapsulates the way me and my friends/family play the game. My wife and I crack up because we see ourselves and our friends in your player personalities/propensities all the time and it makes the experience of watching resonate and feel that much more genuine and relatable. I can only imagine the amount of work that goes into making a show like this between the deckbuilding, guests, production, editing, and continual focus on improving; so I just wanted to let you know (for what it's worth lol) that some random dude out there loves what you do and appreciates all of those efforts to make a high quality product! Thanks for all you do, and bravo on the INSANE win turn!
23:50 - Kozilek 3 can force any two players to manifest two cards from their hand, so Blake could have forced Shay to manifest two cards instead of himself to keep the cards he didn't want manifested.
Vault of Champions should've come in trapped since Blake died before it got played. So, CGB didn't have enough mana to win unless I missed something. 😂
I very recently built a K'rrik deck and it won its first game at Commander Night at my lgs. Used Repay in Kind to set everyones life down to 4, then slapped down good ol' Gary. With just him and K'rrik, that was 5 life I drained out of each of them. As for the other players, one guy used an Orzhov Cleric deck with Orah, Skyclave Hierophant, My brother used his recently purchased "Quick Draw" Precon with Stella Lee and the other girl in the game ran a flying tribal with Errant and Giada. It was my first time getting to play in a real four-player commander game too (usually it's just me and my brother).
Ya know.. the brilliance of Kozilek is that it let's any 2 players manifest 2 cards from their hand. Doesn't have to be Kozileks owner. It's a great way to get cards out of opponents hands.
If he had kept up mana to pay the tax could Blake have returned Kozilek off the Golem trigger when Ben blocked? I always get confused by damage resolution. Basically, could he have stacked things so that Kozilek went back to the command zone before the Golem ability resolved? Also, the Kozilek cast trigger is "UP to two TARGET players." You could have chosen only CGB or CGB and Shea. You can also choose zero players.
At 43:41 cgb didn't take one from endbringer entering due to flesh raker ping, so he wouldn't gain 3 and be at 8, he would be at 7, which means he wouldn't have enough life to win
@@REALCreature I get you. I can only take mine out at very high power casual or cedh tables. Maybe I tuned it too much, but when I play at those tables we have a blast. Are you running the Chainer/Gary loop ?
@@Ilveryn mine is legit just I’m comboin or dying so I run the Gary loop sanguine exquisite combo bolas and atherflux combo and a few more niche ones like atherflux gravecrawler warren soul trader if I want infinite health mana or just point my you lose 50 at them
Could have sacked spawns for mana to active tomb to gain 2 life and survived also missed many triggers of the Fleshraker since it is off any colorless spell and when the 7 mana eldrazi came into play should have been another 1 damage. But it is all good and fun who hasn't missed triggers
You could have chosen up to two players to manifest off kozilek. Didn’t have to be yourself. Or even two. Up to two target players. Could of chosen cgb and shea instead
On the turn he killed Ben, couldn't Blake have immediately replayed his commander anyways because his Geode Golem did damage? And he could have manifested CGB and Shea instead of himself if he wanted to keep his two cards.
I am going to have to press X to doubt they naturally drew 3 Sol ring on the first and second turn. The likelihood of a Sol Ring turn one is about 8.4%, its like watching a movie about poker and people are beating 4 aces with royal flushes. I haven't watch the other 113 episode but how often does Sol ring comes up. Admittedly, its roughly 1/3 that one of four players draws it but 3 players is insanely low.
thot bots are back >_< I'm saying K'rrik is winning. No idea who's playing it, but that's my vote. All of them sound great, though. edit: Adding some rules stuff, even though nobody cares, just because I see this one a lot: 24:00 Kozilek says "UP TO two target players", so while it's not a "may", Blake can just choose zero players. The only thing that's mandatory is manifesting two cards; the players is 0, 1, or 2.
@@zsorens4570 even if they werent the fact remains that he should have not had enough life to cast his spells, at 43:41 you see that an endbringer was cast and when it entered cgb should have taken 1 from the fleshraker which would have put him at 4 not 5
Why you guys continue to wait for cgb to become a threat baffles me. Default should be: kill CGB! I mean that with respect to CGB, he's a powerful mage. 😇 Also, Shea has an arguement for the win here. Vault of champions wasn't played correctly. 🥴 But boy do I love watching. Thanks for the content!
It is so annoying how people do all this complaining about sol ring and fast mana. Yet in this game, it was the only player without a sol ring that won. Even CGB is being all dramatic about not having a sol ring in the start, yet he still win. You don't need a sol ring to play good and win. People should stop being NPCs and regurgitating all these tired old talking points. Just play!
This would be one of the best shows if blue didn't exaggerate his reactions and gestures so much. When he is a guest on other shows he acts normal and is much more enjoyable to watch.
